BE:LIFT Lab never opened again. It's been 3 years since the Sun Shot Campaign was put to an end. I had opened my own research lab. I wanted the boys to feel comfortable while in my care. They weren't experiments anymore. They were my children.
I checked the moon water pressure in their tanks. They have been subdued since that final day. Jay & Sunghoon exceptionally still had more intense anger than the others. So it tended to take a bit more to keep them from breaking their tanks.
I kept more updated files on the boys. They weren't evil or juvenile. They just were angry that they were deceived for so long. The moon water did wonders for the boys.
I researched relentlessly on why the mountain colony worshipped the moon. I soon heard one of the tanks open. I look up finding Sunoo. His clothes soaked. "Abeoji, I'll shower & join you. I think we'll all wake before the day's ended."
(A/N: I have seen that the roles are switched in some of the korean mythology where the little girl is the Moon & her older brother being the sun.)
I nodded. I often spoke to them while they were subdued. So the boys were well aware of what was happening while they rested. I had adopted them since they were parent-less & their power wasn't suitable for the mountain colony to handle on their own.
Sunoo wasn't wrong. The boys each woke one by one. I fed them & let them in on all of my research. I wasn't going to continue being a source of deceit for them.
There was a sense of trust we had built. I won't deceive them as others have. They aren't exactly normal, or ordinary. I wasn't going to be another horrid constant in their already confusing lives.
