Sportacus POV
I hope I got here on time. I don't know how long it was when she cut herself to me getting here. I need to tell the Mayor. I can't leave though. I need to know that Rose will wake up. I can't even sit still. I keep pacing in the waiting room waiting for Dr. Vitale to come out. What is taking so long? I can still feel my mating bond to her so that means she is alive. But even so it's weak. I need to be able to see her.
"Sportacus" Dr. Vitale says coming up behind me.
"Doc how is she? Will she be ok" I ask frantically.
"Rose is going to be fine. Her wounds weren't as deep as we feared. All the blood was due to the alcohol level in her blood. She was pretty drunk. In all honesty you got here just on time. If it had been fifteen minutes later it probably would have been another story."
"Thank God."
"I need you to tell her Uncle though. Even though she is an adult he is her emergency contact. I would do it but I know it would be better hearing it from you. When you are done talking to him come straight here. While Rose was unconscious she was muttering your name. She is sleeping now due to the medication I gave her to help calm her down. I think you will be good for her to recover."
"Thank you Dr. Vitale. I will go now to the Mayor's home."
*Awhile later*
"Hello Sportacus. How may I help you" Mayor Meanwell asks.
"I have some unfortunate news to share with you. You might want to sit down."
I tell the Mayor everything. It was hard for me to get it out cause she is my mate but he doesn't know that. No one her in Lazytown knows I am technically an elf. It's ok though. I do what I can for the residents and no questions are asked.
As we are finishing our discussion Stephanie come in the house.
"Sportacus is Rose ok?" She asked me.
"She will be. I am going back over there now. Don't worry. I need you to do a huge favor for me. I need you to watch over your friends like I do. Can you be a superhero for me while I help Rose?"
"You can count on me!"
At those words I go back to the hospital. I hope she hasn't woken up yet.
