The next day, taehyung practiced the piano in the music room as he looked at the notes sighing until his mother came in smiling

" How is it going sweetheart? "

" Okay I guess.. Eomma how did appa find out about me going into town? "

" I don't care if father allows me to go into town or not I will keep going "

For the rest of the day, taehyung did lessons as jimin kept an eye on him smiling then played with archery

" So mind telling why you like going into town so much? "

After it turns dark, taehyung puts on his cloak as he gets on his horse leaving the palace as his father sent a guard after hin secretly

Meanwhile with jungkook, he sat on his mattress looking down holding his knees covering his face since he was done with work but didn't feel like eating

The younger grabs his light blue cloak and headed outside closing the door quietly then feels a little chilly blowing warm air into his hands as he walks

Taehyung noticed him up ahead and got off his horse tying them as he ran after him pulling his hood down

" It is you "

Jungkook turned around as he puts his hood back on bowing to the older then taehyung looked at him

" What's the matter? "

" nothing you have to head back.. It's cold out here.. You'll get sick.. "

" Says the one who's freezing right infront of me "

Jungkook rubbed his hands together as taehyung held them the younger blushed lightly feeling the warmness from his hands

" It's jungkook.. Just jungkook.. "

" It's very common I guess.. "

" I suppose but what are you doing out here? "

" I just wanted to escape for a little bit.. "

Jungkook giggles as taehyung found it cute then they walk and talk the older kept holding the younger's hands so they'd warm up

They sat down in the middle of the meadow as taehyung held his hands warming them up smiling

" You could've had a better life.. Why are you here? "

" I could've but where will I go..? I don't have family I didn't even know my parents I got sold off to every second until I was stuck here.. So there's no point "

" You don't know your parents..? "

" No.. I've never met them.. I do know for sure they didn't want me.. "

" Don't say that.. They probably had a good reason "

" Maybe.. I should be getting back before the boss catches me out here.. "

" Anytime you want to.. I'm either in my balcony or outside during night.. "

Jungkook leaves first smiling as taehyung swoons smiling looking up until the guard goes to him

The older's smile fades as he knows what's about to happen he gets up grabbing his horse heading back to the palace as both his parents were waiting on him

" Sir, he was talking to a peasant.. " The Knight says

" Don't call him that! " Taehyung replies angrily

" Why were you with a peasant Kim taehyung?! " His father says angrily

" He's not a pleasant! "

" I told you, you weren't allowed to go into town anymore! "

" I don't care! I rather be over there then here expecting to be the Prince that you want me to be I can't even withstand princess Jennie "

" don't tell us you're in love with a peasant "

A slap echoes the palace walls as his father slapped him across the fave then taehyung held his cheek in pain

The king leaves as his mother hugged him tightly stroking his cheek the older only ever felt comfort was his mother
