Sirius Black's Daughter

Chapter 1

Lily's Pov:

I wake up to see my mother at the foot of my bed looking annoyed.

"Lily Arianna Black if you don't get up this instant we are going to miss the train," she said impatiently. I laugh and start to get up. In less than 5 minutes I was ready to go. I couldn't believe I was finally going to Hogwarts. My mother had homeschooled me during my first year because she didn't want me to get bullied or picked on just because my father was Sirius Black. I sigh as I thunk about my father, the mass murderer and betrayer. You see my father had been a spy for Voldemort and on the night he finally revealed it, his master disappeared. He then ran off and one of his old school friends, Peter Pettigrew chased after him and cornered him in an alleyway. Sirius had blown him and a lot of innocent muggles to pieces. My mother and my Uncle Remus had told me all that. My mother ranted about my father a lot, saying how traitorous he was and how she didn't love him anymore. These always ended in her crying her eyes out, so I never had truly believed that she didn't love him anymore. I had finally convinced her to let me go to Hogwarts but only because my Uncle Remus would be teaching Dada(defence against the dark arts). I go downstairs and see my mother with The Daily Prophet in her hands. Tears were streaming down her face. I grab the paper and stare at the front page. The title is Sirius Black escaped from Azkaban.
