Chapter 18✨

~Eve yawned slightly, her head laid on a hard but comfortable surface, she had something tightly wrapped around her waist, it was warm and had a strong grip, not giving her the ability to move, although she didn't mind, whatever it was it felt good, she snuggled closer, enjoying the warmth from what was wrapped around her. She opened on eye to find Corpse laying underneath her.. His eyes were still closed, he let light snores escape his mouth, Eve admired his peaceful look, and his beautiful curls, she started to twirl one around her finger and then moved that hand to trace over his defined face, running it from his cheekbone to jaw, and then lightly rubbing his other cheek, she kept examining his face.. although the had already done that every time she looked at him. Eve did this for 5 minutes, just admiring the man to laid underneath her.~

"Aren't you tired of looking at me?"-Corpse said in a deep and husky voice.

"Ohh um.. I wasn't, or I didn't mean to! It was just you were there and I'm here and I-" Eve started trying to defend herself, but she only saw Corpse have a smile on his face, maybe it was from her lame excuses, or because of Eves cute raspy morning voice. But before she could continue he interrupted her.

"I like it.."-Corpse said as he slowly shifted his body from underneath hers, so that now corpse was sitting while Eve straddled him, he cupped her face with his hand, while the other was wrapped securely around her waist.
"I Like you.."

"I like you too Corpse.."-Eve said, and with that she turned her attention back to his eyes, she craved him, she wanted him so badly, but was she ready to lose her virginity? Eve waited til age 21 already, waiting for what? She was waiting for that feeling.. that feeling of utter complete trust, and not lust but love.

~Corpse slowly placed a nice peck on her cheek and then Eve stood up. She walked over to the kitchen and began to make breakfast. They took their plates of Pancakes to his kitchen island and sat on the stools. As they were eating Corpse realized something, The shirt Eve was wearing was a short dress on her when she stood, but when she sat down it became almost visible of her panties. Corpse almost turned bright red just thinking about the thought.~

"How'd you sleep?"-Corpse asked

"Really good, How about you, I hope I wasn't too heavy.."-Eve said shyly.

"I slept really well, better then I have in months, and you weren't heavy, it felt nice having you that close to me.."-Corpse said thinking about the comfort both of them felt last night. Eve blushed and began small talk, where was this going to lead them? Was she ready for a relationship, was he? So many questions went through her mind, they sat down on the couch after eating and decided to watch some random show both of them were into. Eve once again cuddle into his chest, he put his hand on her neck slightly, just to brush a strand of hair away, but to Eves eyes she saw a flashback of when Jaden had chocked her, not in a attractive way, but in a pure violence, Returning back to the present Eve flinched and pulled herself slightly away from Corpse, which he took notice of, not only from her actions but from her tremors becoming more visible.

"Eve?"-Corpse asked

"Yeah?"-Eve said.

"What were things like between you and your ex?"-Corpse asked

"Oh um.. well, at first things were good, he made me feel good, I had liked him for a couple years now, I never knew him personally though, I was just attracted to him. He took interest in me after I had grown up aka once I became a women, and grew into a womanly body. Which should've been my first red sign but he was the first guy who had ever even looked at me. The first guy who told me I looked pretty, the first guy who told me he loved me. But over time his true colors showed. He began to be more distant, less open, we stopped cuddling and things like that, he would go out all night without telling me where he was, he wouldn't come back for days, he left me alone for many days.. after my parents died I sort of adapted this thing, I hate it but I can't help it, once I grow an attachment to something or someone special, leaving them physically hurts, they told me it's separation anxiety, I'm not fond of it, and I can control it pretty well so that wasn't the biggest issue. But what started happening was, he knew that I wasn't ready to have sex, being a virgin at 21 is a little strange, I guess, but it's not that I'm waiting til marriage or something, it's just that I was waiting for that feeling of Complete trust, and instead of love in his eyes I saw lust. I didn't want that. Deep down inside I knew that all the rumours about him cheating on me was true, I mean I wasn't surprised, he had always been like that, but I never saw him be aggressive, I didn't expect him to be.. he became more pushy and well when he would come home extremely intoxicated he would try and make me do things.. At first I would refuse but I was afraid he would leave me, so I did what he asked, all except sex, I always refused, there were times where he would try and do it anyways but I always threatened to call the Police, so In fear of his own reputation he never did it, because he wasn't getting it from me I knew he was getting it somewhere else. I knew the relationship was bad, I knew.. but I felt trapped and I felt like I couldn't leave him. But things went for the worst 5 months into our relationship, he became physical, specifically violent when he was intoxicated which was often. And the rest is history.."-Eve said with a sad smile in her eyes.

"But it's in the past now! I'm still Eve Evergarden, he hasn't changed me, He may have changed a few a things but nothing major..."-Eve said trying to lighten the conversation.

"You didn't deserve that.."-Corpse said upsetly.
He understood now why Eve acted the way she did, he loved the way she was but the little things... The flinch, things like that, and about the alcohol.. he remembered when he became extremely drunk and Eve still came over and helped him, she probably was reminded of all the times with her ex, I can't believe someone could ever hurt another person like that, I could never, if Eve gives me the chance to show her a 50/50 relationship I'll make sure she feels the same energy back...

"Enough about me, what about you? I wonder who was lucky enough to steal your heart!"-Eve jokes as she leaned herself back into corpses chest.

"Well.. there was this girl, she um, I took an interest in her, we started dating and things were going well but later into the relationship she started to hide things... I always trusted her with everything so I didn't suspect much ~Corpse continued on about his past relationship, he opened his heart up to Eve about his anxiety and how much trust issues he got from his ex, It made Eve so upset that someone could ever hurt him in such a long term damaging way..~ (hey so I didn't go into detail cause idk if Corpse has experience such a toxic relationship, so I kinda added this, but overall he has major trust issues and his anxiety became worse because of the relationship.)
"And that's all really, I'm just some guy who's got a few issues I guess.."-Corpse said finishing off his story.

~Eve turned around shift from her back laying on his chest to her now wrapping her arms around his neck, she felt terrible, she just wanted to embrace him. He took it as a bit of a shock but then his body eased up. He allowed himself to become vulnerable with her.. he felt comfort in her, he wrapped his arms tightly around her, both of them letting off their pain and hurt. They hugged hard, not letting go of each other. This feeling was new to both of them..~

Hey guys I'm surprised how fast I finished this chapter (1541 words) I expected to finish it but tonight but apparently not! Honestly the character Eve is based off someone I know, it's so different writing these chapters about her toxic relationship. Watching from the side it hurt to see her get hurt but anyways, my friend has gotten out of that relationship and is now thriving as a Single Hot Sexy bish🥵 anyways new chapter I hope will be up tomorrow!
