5-Family

Katie's POV

I wake up to someone tugging my hair.

"Huh?" I say wiping my eyes.

"I want breakfast. " Ash says. I click my home button and the time says 5:37.

"Right now.." I groan.

"Pancake time." She says walking out my room.I get up and put on leggings and an oversized shirt.I go dowstairs to the kitchen.

"Goodmorning." Matt, Nash, Cam, Hayes, Taylor, Jack (G), Lexi and Ashley say.I groan.

"When did you four get here? " I ask pointing at Taylor, Jack, Lexi and Hayes.

"Last Night.You were sleep." Hayes says.

"Soo..I have to make breakfast for..eight people?"

"Yep." Cam says.

"Most of you are 16-18 years old..don't you know how to make breakfast or even do something as simple as making a bowl of cereal..?"

"I'm only 4." Ash says.

"I know, I'm talking about the other seven idiots."

Ash laughs and nods.

"I can help." Cam says.

"No you can continue to sit on your lazy butt." I say with a half smile.Cam shakes his head.

I go over to the cabinets to find the pancake mix.I try to open the cabinet but I'm too short.Cam laughs.He walks over and reaches up for the box. He hands it to me with a small laugh.

"Whatever." I say under my breath.

"You're Welcome. " he says poking my cheek.I swat his hand down.

"Ouch." He says placing his hand over his heart.I grin and begin to make the pancakes.

"There's not enough syrup!!!" Hayes whines.

"You're not four.Get off your butt, use your two legs and get more out the fridge. " I say rolling my eyes.

"I'm four!" Ash says with a smile.I smile at her and nod.

"Goodmorning childr-" my mom says staring around the kitchen.

"Soo..I suddenly have ten children. " she says shaking her head smiling.

"Nine." Ash says.

"Ash!! You forgot about me!" My brother Jacob says standing next to our mom.

"Jakey!!" Ash screams running to Jacob.

"Well, we're having family over so the seven of you are going to find something to do for the meanwhile." My mom says. I turn around and stare at her.

"You didn't tell me we were having fam over." I say.

"Because I know how you feel about this particular family." She says scratching her chin.

Of course.It's Lucas' family.

"You mean your father's family." She says.

"What?" I say.

"You said Lucas' family, I was correcting you."

"Haha very funny.But he's no father to me." I laugh.

"Katie. You know how it goes." Jacob says staring at me sternly.I shrug and roll my eyes.

"Anyways this is my family. " I say wrapping my arms around Hayes. Hayes nods along with everyone else.
