The Drunk Affair

AU: Gintoki gets drunk with Hijikata Inna bar stand outside somewhere. And yk how it is :0....

Midnight at Edo, people getting drunk, having the time of their lives, going to clubs, hanging around.

Just outside of that chaotic wild city is a small bar stand with a woman who seems to be in her mid 30's is sitting waiting for a customer to serve and listen.

"Ah, hello oddjobs boss. The usual?"
"Yeah" the Oddjobs boss knows as Sakata Gintoki takes a seat at the bar.
The lady prepares a drink and hands it to him
"Please tell me you have money this time..." she turned up the hot pot
"If I drink this in 1 minute then it's payed by the next person who comes here"
"Last time you did that you were in debt to be my 3000 yen"
"Ok 3.. 2.. 1..!" Gintoki began drinking away while the barista just sighed.

He failed 5 more times after that one

"G. Give me one more missy"
"Yeah sure, I'm broke I need money to pay rent and feed my kids" she gave him another drink, it was bigger than the ones she previously served.

In the corner of her eye she could see someone appearing in the back

"Ah hello vice cheif, not so often you stop by here anymore"
"I was in the mood" "mind if I smo-" he noticed Gintoki chugging away
"Don't mind boss man"
"Your pulling another one of your scams..."
"I'm pulling another one if my scams, want a beer"
"Yeah, and cook up some Yakitori"

"Oi Yoyoriza what are you doing here"
"Ah Hijikata kun~ nice to see you again *hic*"
"You reek of booze, discusting"

"Your drunk so naturally everything seems odd"

"I have a family to feed and bills to pay damit"

"Don't worry cheif it's an unwritten rule for bar stands to keep secrets between customer and server"
"ITS NOT LIKE THAT!!" "GIN DRINK MORE SO YOU CAN FORGET ABOUT THAT GOD AWFUL MOMENT"
"But Hijikata kun~ I really liked spending that day with you~"

Hijikata blushed at the face Gin was making, his eyes looked like they were sparkling and his lips in a small pout. And his head resting on the palm of his hand

"Here cheif, here's your beer"
"Thanks"
Hijikata chugged at it Immidetly. He didn't want to remember that face Gintoki was making, he didn't want it flashing in his head for the rest of his life

But for poor Hijikata, it was just water
"Damit woman your doing this on purpose, give me alcohol"
"Sorry cheif but I can't give it to a-"
"Ill take this"

"Ok"

Hijikata took the one she purposely put there, it was 87% Alcohol...

"Ahhh~ Yorozuya"
"Hijikata kun~"

"Finally spiced things up" the Miss was sitting there drinking some tea and reading yaoi..... While watching them...

"Yoyoriza..."
"Yes Hijikata kun" Gin fluttered his eyes

Hijikata blushed and turned his head
"A-always come to the Shinsengumi, if you need anything"
"What do you mean Hijikata kun"
"I- I want to be there for you Gintoki! You always help us and I want to help you Sakata!"
"Toshi?"
"No... This is Hijikata"

"Their usually really tough men, but their acting like the main couple in a dumb Romance manga"

"I'm sorry Hijikata kun..."
"What"
"I just don't want you to get hurt... While dealing with my problems"
"No.. I know how to take care of myself!"
"But still Hijikata kun"

"Ok this is going no where" the bartender took more beer and shoved it in their mouthes

"Hijikata in kun~ you look so cute with such a face"
"Tch, shut up"

"I'm just feeding myself at this point"

Gintoki grabbed Hijikatas chin and put it towards his face
"What are you doing Yoyoriza"
"I want you Hijikata k-u-n" he smirked
"Not here Gintoki..."

"Oh please, feel free to do whatever here~"
She gave them.more alcohol

It seemed like they went back to normal, but they weren't. They were just quiet, sti drunk. You could see it.

"Oi Gintoki"
"Hm?"
"I. I never told you but I love you"
"Oh is that so"
"Take me seriously just this once damit"
"I'm listing *hic*"
"Yoyoriza I love you.... Your always around and everywhere I go your there just doing something different everytime I see you. Your all I think about anymore, I can't stop. I always want to see you, and when we do we just fight and I don't want to fight every time I see you, I'm just trying to say Yoyoriza, will you be with me.."
"Then say my name Hijikata kun"
"Huh"
"Say my name, and ill accept~"

"Sakata..., I like you. No I love you"

Hijikata grabbed his head, his lips reached Gintokis lips, the suspense had reached to an end.
Gintoki felt a sudden release, he only focused on how soft Hijikatas lips were agenst his. And how addicting it was for the two to kiss

Their was something about the way Hijikata brushed his hand agenst Gintokis hair that made Gin feel relieved. Hijikata took peeks when they'd let go for a second to make sure this was reality or just straght imagination. Gintokis mouth was sweet, and smelled like strawberries.

They both got up and walked behind the cart to the forest area behind

In suspense the bartender was just in shock she looked back to them and heard some noises

She smiles and turned on a recorder and continued to read her manga. Peacefully listening to two men having it.

"I have avenged you Fujoshies"

*Later*

"Welcome back love birds, how was it"

She had prepared a drink to sober them up. Though they were already sober, their faces were dazed and looked to be out of this world

Missy, don't tell anyone about this....

"You didn't answer my question, how was it"
The two looked down in embarrassment.

They drank up the smoothie, and placed it down
"I-it was actually kinda good"

I like how my writing turned into a whole different level in the kissing scene 🗿

"I know a place and I booked a room"

after that they did it ever once in a while
