"Marinette!! Your ride is here." Sabine said as she opened the hatch leading to her daughter's room.

"I am coming Maman." Marinette said as she applied her pink lipstick. She was really nervous. Of course, she met Gabriel Agreste a few times but this time they are meeting personally. As designers.

Marinette sighed as she looked at herself in the mirror once more. She was wearing a baby blue off shoulder dress that reached under her knees. It had some shining fake diamonds on it to make it shine beautifully under the light. Her hair was down as she remembered everyone complimenting her whenever it is down.

Marinette headed towards her hatch only to stop to look at her dress. She just finished it and it came out just like she planned. Finally making her decision, Marinette took a picture of the dress and sent it to Alya. They must be heading to Ms Bustier's classroom now after finishing Ms Mendeliev's.

I just finished it. Don't forget to keep it a secret. BTW I am not coming to school today.

Marinette smiled as she looked at Tikki. "Ready to go??" Marinette asked.

"Yes. I am sure you are going to be perfectly okay Marinette." Tikki giggled as she entered the hidden pocket made especially for her, and Marinette's phone, of course.
Marinette was just about to exit her room when her phone dinged from a message. It was Alya.

Gurl. I am totally coming today after school. The dress is just. Wow.

Marinette smiled at the message her best friend is sending just to encourage her.

I bet you will hear some special news once you come.

Almost immediately Alya's response came.

"Marinette." Sabine's voice echoed.

"Coming Maman." Marinette exclaimed exiting her room.

"You look stunning sweetheart." Sabine said as she took pictures of her daughter.

"Thank you Maman." Marinette said kissing her mother's cheek.

"I'm off papa." Marinette exclaimed waving for him as she exited the bakery.

"Ms Dupain-Cheng??" Natalie's voice echoed once she left the bakery.

Natalie was raising a brow completely not expecting to see her. She knows completely that she is one of Adrien's close friends. Of course, she knew about the girl's talent but she didn't expect her to be MDC who got an outstanding fame in a short amount of time.

"Hello Ms Sancoeur. I'm MDC." Marinette said noticing the woman's confusion.

Natalie cleared her throat as she opened the black limo's door. "Of course. Please, get in." Natalie said politely.

Marinette smiled with a quick 'thank you' as she rode in the limo. Well, she better collect all the courage she has on the way.

"Class. Lila came back from her trip to Egypt meeting prince Ali." Ms Bustier announced as Lila waved at them smiling sweetly.

"Hey guys. I really missed you." Lila said, well obviously lied, looking at them.

"Does anyone know where Marinette is??" Ms Bustier asked.

"Yes, Ms Bustier." Alya exclaimed. "Something urgent came up so she is going to be absent for today and tomorrow. She will be back at the beginning of the week." Alya announced.
