Nao left earlier this morning. He went to school with Midoriya, who showed up at our door unexpectedly. They seemed excited and left without really telling me. So now I was going alone, down the street.
I held my bag, containing an extra set of my P.E. uniform and sneakers.
It was quite nice today I guess. The sun was out. I woke up this morning. . . I mess my bed. I didn't really feel like leaving and I'm not looking forward to training. Everyone in the hero course will be there practicing their skills and then I'll get there and they'll be staring. Just the idea of them judging, makes my stomach turn.
I shake my head, trying to get rid of the thought. Looking up, I tripped.
I was pushed forward with a shove from behind. "Can you walk any slower you dumbass," the boy shouted. I rolled my eyes, recognizing the voice.
"Well isn't it my number one fan— Morning Bakugou. What do you want? You could've stayed quiet and kept going with your time," I said. And I now officially hate the idea of running into classmates outside of school.
Bakugou walked ahead, forcing me to quicken my pace. "You fainted yesterday," he spoke.
"So you've stopped me to apologize? Cuz shit— I didn't forget!"
"Psh, please. I wanted to know if you were alive and ready for training. Don't think I was worried about you— Remember I want a rematch!"
"I know," I sighed. "Also I wasn't thinking if you worried about me or not, but it's nice to know you were." I smirked.
We came to a stop at the corner as the signal light turned red. I expected him to blast himself over the traffic to get away faster, but I guess he still had something to say. Waiting to cross, I asked him, "Can I ask you a question?" Bakugou stayed quiet, keeping his eyes forward. "I'll take your silence as a yes. Do you trust me Bakugou?"
"No."
"Understood— So why do you keep following me around? You stood over at my apartment and you keep 'running' into me, so it has to be more than a coincidence right?"
"What are you implying moron?"
"Do you like me?"
The light turned green and the people around us crossed the street.
Bakugou glared down on me. "What the fuck are you blabbering about. I don't know you whatsoever."
He walked away and I followed, starting up that damn hill.
"So if you got to know me, are you saying you might see me as an ally?"
"Not even— You're here because those heroes took pity on you because you were some kind of a victim from a villain attack. But I know there's more to it than what you're leading on. You've lied about your quirk to those idiots who trust you. So to answer your stupid question, no I do not like you."
"You're smart. And y'know what— the feeling's mutual buddy."
"I'm leaving."
"Bye bitch," I waved.
"Fuck you," he hissed walking the opposite direction.
"Fuck you too."

I walk into Ground Beta for the first time ever since I've started attending the academy. Ground Beta were most of the students came to train as it emulated a vast urban area. The several blocks of buildings and long streets were perfect for heros who choose to work in cities. I noticed a few of my classmates running around, like Uraraka using her quirk to levitate discarded rubble.
