Nightmare at Day - Tragic Aftermath

Narrator's pov:

*while Momo arrived at the hospital*

Yusei was making his way back towards the waiting area, holding some fizzy drinks and snacks from the vending machine 1 floor above.

Recalling back to the sight of the explosion, he was stuck in thought, pondering over who could do such a thing as destroy an apartment complex and what their reason for it would be.

Yusei - 'Dammit! Why can't people just be kind for once!?'

As he got to the waiting room however, he saw something that brought a smile to his face.

Momo, tightly holding and comforting a sleeping Izuku, with Kami nestled on his lap.

Momo - *noticing Yusei* "Oh hello Mr Fudo. Izuku fell asleep. I think the emotional stress must have taken a lot out of him."

Yusei - "Yeah. I know it must have."

Kami - "I fear for his mental wellbeing. I'm not able to get to him mentally. So he must really be fatigued."

Momo - "Leave him be. Considering what's happened today, he deserves a break more than anyone" *strokes his hair to try and comfort him*

Yusei/Kami - 'Yeah she really likes him.'

Kami looked at his partner's face, seeing how tear strained it was, but also noticing the small smile he had with since the incident was non existent.

He then noticed Izuku begin to shift in Momo's arms, and get comfortable, though judging by how Kami still can't access him through telepathy means he was probably still asleep.

Izuku - *murmurs in his sleep* "M-Momo...is that you?"

Momo - "Yes Izuku. It's me."

Izuku - *murmurs* "P-please...don't go, no no why are you going...don't leave me!" *starts to cry* "I already lost Mom, please I can't live without you!"

Momo realised this was not just a dream, but a nightmare, and she hurriedly tried to wake him up.

Yusei - *as Momo is trying to get Izuku awake* "Izuku! Snap out of it, it's a nightmare!"

Izuku didn't stop crying though, and he still wasn't fully awake.

Kami then felt something familiar residing within Izuku's mind, suprised at the fact that he was even able to get in now.

As he accessed his mind, he saw what was causing the trouble.

In Izuku's mind:

Izuku woke up and saw a blurred image someone stand in front of him in a white room, looking away into the distance.

As he regained his sight, he began to recognise the figure.

Izuku - "M-Momo! Is that you!?

The figure turned around to reveal Momo, with a blank look on her face, removed of any happy emotion.

She then turned back, and began to walk away.

Izuku - "W-wait! Where are you going!?"

Momo - "Don't talk to me. I can't believe I'm wasting my time and effort with someone weak like you who couldnt even protect his own mother."

Izuku - "P-please...don't go, no no why are you going...don't leave me!" *starts to cry* "I already lost Mom, please I can't live without you!"
