Christmas Eve

Hi everyone. So it's been a little while but I'm here with the chapter that I promised. This is going to be a kind of special with all the sides. I will be writing my favourite ships in this chapter so if you don't agree then don't read.

It's Christmas Eve in the mind palace and all the sides are coming together to celebrate. Even Janus and Remus were invited over to the light side to have a sort of sleepover before Christmas Day.
In the dark sides, Remus and Janus were preparing to head over to the light sides to start getting ready for Christmas.
"Remusss are you sssure thiss iss a good idea, I mean they sstill haven't quite accepted uss" Janus asked worriedly.
"I'm sure Jan I mean it was Roman who invited us which means that they might want to try and get on" Remus replies hoping to calm Janus' nerves.
"Yea you're right" Janus agrees smiling.
"Alright then let's get going"
Remus grabs Janus' hand which makes the lying side blush slightly and turns his head so Remus couldn't see. Remus just smiles at him and they both head over to the light side.

Over at the light side, Virgil was helping Logan finish wrapping presents while Roman and Patton were making cookies.
"Are we sure it was a good idea to invite Remus and Janus over?" Virgil asked bitterly.
"Now Virgil we need to accept them, they are a part of Thomas as well wether we like it or not" Patton replied with that voice that lets you know not to argue back.
"I'm just on edge that's all" Virgil says back.
"Well Remus is Roman's brother and Christmas is a time to spend with family is it not?" Logan interrupted.
"Exactly and wether they are on the light side or dark side, we treat them like family okay?" Patton said.
It was at this moment that Janus and Remus appeared.
"AAAAAHHHH"
Everyone just stopped what they were doing and looked at Remus. Remus was laughing his head off while Janus was holding his hands over his ears since he was right next to Remus when he screamed.
"My devious plan was a success, you all momentarily payed me some attention!!" Remus said while laughing.
Everyone just rolled their eyes at Remus and welcomed them both. Patton jumped up and gave them both a hug and said merry Christmas to them both.
"Merry Christmas Patton," Janus replied politely, "thank you for having us over"
"It's fine, you're a part of Thomas too so why not spend the holiday together am I right guys?" Patton questioned the other sides while giving them the look that let them know they had to agree or else.
"Yes it would make the holiday more enjoyable," Logan agreed while hugging Virgil who just nodded in agreement.
"Yes indeed, I have some new ideas for the Christmas song we can all sing this year!!!" Roman said in excitement.
"No no more singing please Roman" Logan pleaded.
"Uggh fine".

Time skip-few hours later
It had been a few hours since Remus and Janus had arrived and everyone was getting along nicely. They all decided to play truth or dare. So they are sat on the sofa and on the floor and everyone is having a good time.
"Roman truth or dare?" Remus asked with a smirk on his face.
"Uhhh dare" Roman replied.
"I dare you to ask your crush out!" Remus dared with a victory look on his face.
Roman immediately turned red, a shade that could rival a tomato. He hesitantly turned to his left and face Patton. He rooms deep breathe and asked, "Patton would you" he stopped to take a shaky breathe. "Would you go out with me?"
Patton stared at him in shock, tears starting to reveal themselves. He started smiling and nodding his head, " yes I will!!"
Roman let out a breathe he didn't even know he was holding and leaned in to kiss Patton. Their lips met and started to move in sync with each other.
They only pulled apart when a throat was cleared and they looked up to see Janus and Logan smiling, Virgil with his hoodie over his head and Remus smirking. Clearly he was the one to interrupt him.
"Not that I'm not happy for you bro but save that for the bedroom"
Both sides blushed a vibrant shade of red before returning to the game that was forgotten about for a couple of minutes.

Another time skip
Truth or dare done, time for movies. All the sides had food and blankets and were all bundled up next to each other watching Rise of the Guardians. Virgil was curled up asleep on Logan who was staring at the Tv, Roman and Patton were fast asleep curled up with each other in their arms. Janus and Remus were sat on the floor next to each other. Janus sighed making Remus look over to him with a questioning look on his face.
"I'm happy Remusss, they actually accept usss!" Janus smiled happily.
"I told you they would" Remus replied.
Janus started laughing and looked up. He gasped as he saw mistletoe. Remus looked up and saw it as well. They both looked at each other and with blushing faces, leaned in until their lips met in a sweet kiss.
Without realising it, they fell asleep led next to each other underneath the mistletoe both dreaming of what it would be like if what just happened became reality.
