Halloween costumes

Hey guys sorry I haven't updated. There is no excuse it's just the fact I either forgot (I'm sorry 🥺😭) or I couldn't think of what to write.
But I have an inspiration for a ship that I don't ship and I apologise to all the people who do. I hope this will be alright since I haven't updated at all but I will be doing a big chapter on Halloween with all the sides so I better start planning for that.
I hope everyone is doing alright and let's get on with the chapter.

Roman's PoV
Today is the 29th so the emo nightmare and I decided to sort our Halloween costumes out. Like last time he is going as a vampire and is plotting to try to scare us again but I decided to go for a clown this year.
"Oi princey we doing this or what?" Virgil's voice broke me out of my thoughts.
"Yea of course" I replied.
"We'll come on then" he huffed.
I know Virgil is excited for this since Halloween is his favourite holiday. If I'm being honest I'm looking forward to seeing him trying to scare us again because he was really cute last time... wait wait wait did I just call him cute!!! No there's no way I could ever think of him cute. Okay maybe a little but I highly doubt he would feel the same.

Virgil PoV
I was excited today because Roman agreed to come Halloween shopping with me. Not only was I picking a Halloween costume but I also getting to do it with my crush. Yes I know what you're thinking, isn't he the one who kinda torments you? Well yes he does make fun of me most of the time but I just find him funny, lovable and adorable. I wonder what he's doing this year. Maybe he will be a mummy like last year but I hope to god he doesn't go as a clown. I don't know what it is about them but they just freak me out. Anyway time to get going.

Time skip-to the shop
Once they had arrived, they decided to split up since Roman wanted his costume to be a surprise. So Virgil headed off to find some fishnet gloves and tights to start off his costume. Unlike last year Virgil wanted to go for a more feminine vampire but still like him. Meanwhile Roman was working through face paint and trying to find things that would piece together his costume.

Time skip- back home (sorry I'm feeling lazy)
When they arrived home Roman suggested that they put on their costumes and show each other. Virgil agreed and they both sunk out to their rooms.
After a few minutes both of them came back to the living room both with eyes closed.
"Okay on three we open our eyes, 3...2..1"
Both sides opened their eyes to see what each other had decided to be and both got a shock.

"..." Roman was speechless. He was also blushing.
"Wow ummm Virgil you look rather ummm cute" he muttered while trying to hide the fact that he was blushing although that was relatively easy since he had a mask on.
On the other hand Virgil was trying to stop from shaking with fear. The one thing he had hoped Roman wouldn't go for was standing in front of him. Roman stopped to look at Virgil when he realised that the anxiety side hadn't said anything.
"Virgil?"
No response.
"Hey you okay?" Roman asked with worry in his voice. He then saw how badly Virgil was shaking and then heard how heavy his breathing was. The creative side then realised he was having a panic attack. Rushing to his side he pulled the anxious side onto his lap and started whispering calming things in his ear and stroking his hair.
After a few minutes of Roman rocking Virgil back and forth (they are on the floor and Roman has taken his mask off) Virgil starts calming down and his sobs quieting down.
"Are you feeling okay?" Roman asks calmly.
"Yea sorry I just don't like clowns." Virgil confessed.
"Oh I'm so sorry love I didn't know!" Roman apologised missing the slip up.
"Love? Why did you call me love?" Virgil asks with hope in his voice.
"Did I? Oh I ummm guess I may you know like you in a way that means I want a relationship with you" Roman explains in a Logan way.
"Wait you like me too?!" Virgil asks surprised since he believed Roman would never like him back.
"Well I guess yea" Roman said with a smile and before Virgil had time to respond, Roman leaned down and gently pressed his lips to Virgil's in a sweet kiss. Virgil's eyes widens before melting into the kiss and responding back. After a few minutes, the two sides separated gasping for oxygen.
The two sides smiled at each other before whispering happy Halloween to each other and Roman picked Virgil up bridal style and headed to back to his room for a night they won't forget.

I'm sorry if it's not as good as normally but I hope it's alright. I'm sorry for the gap in writing but I hopefully will update again in a couple of days time or maybe tomorrow.
