The Four In One Christmas Story

CHRISTMAS IN FAMILY VILLA

The McGregors are in their huge bus with bedroom and bathroom. They are on their way to their villa in the woods. The bus is full of noise and chatters most especially from their 35 year old Columbian grandmother and her husband Jone McGregor. He have three children. The first born is Claire, she married a real estate agent, his second born is Reid, he is a gay. He have his husband Cam and they adopted a Vietnamese girl who is now 5 years old. Jone McGregor married Gloria the Columbian lady when he divorced Claire and Reid's mom. Gloria came with her son Steve and she gave birth to her now one year old son, Cole.

"Mom!". Claire's three kids shouted at same time. They are at the far end of the car with Steve.

"No shouting kids". Claire said in frustration.

"Mom, Luke is disrespecting his 21 year old sister. Just because I am petite doesn't mean that he will be very bad." Haley said in a go, tapping away on her phone.

"Luke, respect your sister". Claire warned and continued her work on her laptop.

"Oh my God!. Lily why are you painting your nails with Haley's manicure set." Cam said to his daughter in a slightly offensive tone.

"Ohh!!. Daddy I'm a lady". She replied without looking at him.

Cam and Reid looked at each other then Reid decided to chirp in.

"Sweetie. You know your sister and her make up things." He said calmly.

"Fine". Lily yelled and ran in between the column of the moving bus.

"Dad!. Can I take my textbooks please?". Alex, Haley's younger sister and looks elder sister asked.

"No honey, you are on a Christmas vacation not like you are on your way to a competition." Her father yelled from the driver sit.
"Alex don't be a pooper enjoy". Reid said from their seat.

"Ughhh." Alex groaned and turned to look at her siblings.

"Let's go the bedroom I need to rest." Alex suggested.

"I'm in." Lily and Luke said standing up.
Steve and Haley followed.

The room is made of polished wood work with a queen size bed and a small bathroom attached.

"This bus is a baby plane." Lily muttered laying on her tummy on the the bed.

"Mom is busy lately, she can't even listen to me when I complain." Haley mouthed sitting on the edge of the bed and crossing her leg.

"My mom is becoming a pain in the ass, she sends all my girlfriends away." Steve complains.

"Dad wants me to be following him to his estate business." Luke stands at the doorway adjusting his collar.

"Dad is packing my textbooks for no effing reason." Alex adjust her glasses.
"I think we should enjoy this Christmas, we can deal with our problems after that." Haley said lying on her stomach.

They reached the villa in the evening.
"Everybody take your bags, we are going to start the decoration now." Gloria said in a high pitched voice.

"But we are tired." Alex said pouting.

"Yeah she is right, let's take a nap before we start the decoration." McGregor said climbing the porch.

They entered the sitting room and sat. Everybody is tired. Gloria sprouled across the floor. And the others are on the couches.

"Arhhhhhhh!!. Gloria's voice echoed in the sitting room. She sat up on the floor.

"The time. It is 2:30 am." She said opening her eyes.

"Oh my God!" Claire said. "We are late we need to start the decorations now." Claire said.

"Haley and Alex cook.
Luke and Steve bring the trees and things for decoration from the car. Reid and Cam bring the cleaning supplies." Claire ordered.
Everything was done by five in the morning.
McGregor brought alot of gifts for them. Most especially his last grandchild, Lily.

"Gloria but you said today will be snowing. What happened?" Luke asked.

"I am sorry, but this thing said today will be cool but not snow."  Gloria said looking at her phone.

"Ughhh!! " The children groaned.

Everybody dressed in his Christmas clothes and enjoyed.
Cam dressed in santa clause attire and brought a beautiful white pony for Gloria's little boy.
It was surprising that in the afternoon it snowed and they played in the snow.

Family are supposed to spend time together in times of celebration no matter the distance and place.

As the writer of this piece, I live the relationship in family it is the best.
