John and Alex have been dating for two years now and John have been thinking about marriage for a a couple of months now but didn't know if Alex was and was scared of being rejected and it being awkward. Of course he loved Alex and wanted to be with him for the rest of his life but he decided to wait another month. They were at Lafayette and Hercules's place where they were celebrating John amd Alex's 2nd year of dating.

John's POV
"hey laf can I talk to you for a bit" alex asked as he and laf got up and stepped out of the apartment. " what are they talking about that they have to be so secretive about I mean I'm his boyfriend " I say asking herc who was eating a slice of pizza he just shrugs, I look at him " well your no help, hes been like this for a couple of weeks, is he cheating?" Herc gets up from his chair and sits in Alex's spot " I'm sure its nothing bad ok, dont think to much about it" he then pulls me into a tight hug to tight " uh herc I cant breath" I say patting him on the back to single for him to let me go " oh, sorry, I forgot sometimes how tight I can hug people" he says as he gets up and walks back to his seat as Lafayette walks back in. " hey John uh can you come to the roof top with me for a second I uh need to talk to you for a bit herc you come to but follow behind me" lafayette says I get up and think 'well that's a little weird' " uh yeah sure I say as we all walk to the door.

Alex's POV ( 5 minutes before )
"ok you got the decorations set up on the roof top right?" I ask laf, I was so nervous for tonight, why? Because I was going to ask the love of my life to marry me tonight " I'm so nervous laf what if he says no, what if something goes worng, what if he doesn't answer and just runs away."
(This is what the scenery looks like btw)

"Alex's hes gonna to say yes now go to the top and get in your place" Laf says and Hugges me " I really hope so laf I really love him" I say hugging back, I let go and head up to the top get into position kneeing on one knee in front if the 'will you marry me' sign holding the ring box open will a small but hopefull smile on my face looking towards the door that John will come out of.

John's POV
Lafayette cover my eyes with hercs bandana and lead me up the stairs to the door that led out to the roof top herc following close behind herc opens the door and take off the bandana around my eyes and I see the most beautiful sight I have ever seen and In the middle I find Alex, down on one knee, with a sign behind him that says 'will you marry marry me' surround by a dozen roses and candles in and Alex's is holding a ring box with two rings inside, I cup my hands over my face and start to cry happy tears and nod my head " yes?" Alex says getting up, I run over to him and kiss him " YES, A MILLION TIMES YES, YES ILL BE TOIR HUSBAND" I kiss him over and over again but stop so he can put the rings on me and him, he gives me the white one and takes the black one, he pulls me into a long kiss and says " I love you so much John laurens Hamilton" he says putting his forehead on mine " I love you so much to Alexander Laurens Hamilton"

"I GOT THAT ALL ON VIDEO" laf says while herc is smiling so wide it looks like it hurts "CAN I BE THE FLOWER GIRL?!" Herc says thro happy sobs and we all laugh and alex says " of course herc"
