Chapter 6

"S-sana?"

"So how are you, tae?"

"Maybe Ill get some coffee. Take care, son!"

"But Dad--" it was too late. Dad already closed the door.

"Do you really dont want to be with me? It looks like you want me out--" Sana pouted.

"WHAT? Of course not! I will never get tired with you."

"What?"

Oh crap.. What did i just say???

"Ah--"

"Do you like me, Vantae?"

Yeah of course--- WTH?! She asked what??? Yeah a like her but...

"N-no..."

"Hm.. I see. I just got rejected. Hmp."

"What do you mean?" Does she like me? Okay. Ill stop assuming. But what if...

"Do you like me, Sana?" Now the tables are turned.

Sana looked at me and smiled. Her pink cheeks looks so cute. Her eyes are so beautiful.

"Me liking you? What---"

"Because I like you very much, Sana. Very very much." yeah. I just did that. Im dying and i dont want to waste my time anymore. I want to die contently. "But Sana Im--"

"So you love me? Very very very much isnt like anymore, it's love. Stop joking, vante. We just met like days ago."

"I do believe in love at first sight tho." I winked.

"Hm.. Interesting."

"Are you feeling well?" Sana asked while looking at me innocently

"Of course! It's been 2 months, Minatozaki."

Yes. It's been 2 months since the hospital thingy. Sana was there. Always. She was taking care of me and helped me recover faster.

That's why i sometimes wonder why is she doing this?

We are currently walking in the park. Eating cotton candy. 2 months and yet I still dont know what she feels towards me.

Does she likes me as a man or as a friend? Whatever her choice is, I'll respect it.

"TAEEEE!!!"

"H-ha?"

"Hamburger. HAHAHAHA! I asked you if you wanna eat lunch? Its 11:55 am already."

"Yeah. Sure, Where do you wanna eat?"

"Kalenderya!"

(AN : Kalenderya is an eatery here in the Philippines with various of yummy and cheap side dish options.)

"A-alright." I replied as she dragged me towards the place called "Kalenderya"

Its my first time eating in a place like this. Its definitely not fancy but its clean. I saw Sana near the counter pointing on the dishes that she want to eat. That we want to eat.

"All done! Vantae come come!" I walked towards her and carried almost half of the bowls filled with food. It smells really great. We sat in front of each other. We prayed before eating.

"Let's dig in!!!" Sana smiled.

"Ahh I'm so full!" I said.

"Me too! That was the best lunch ever!"

After eating lunch we decided to go back at the park and walk around to burn all the food that we ate. While walking i was fighting with my mind wether ill take Sana's hand and intertwined it with mine or not.

Whatever. I grabbed Sana's hand. "I want you to be near me. Who knows what will happen right? What if there's a kidnapper then he'll grab you? It's better safe than sorry right?"

"HAHAHA Vante. Youre so adorable. You and your tactics."

Dang. She knows. This is so embarrassing.

"By the way, Vante. You said you owe me big!" She made the " ^¬^" face.

"What do want, huh?"

"I want you... to get me this giant elephant!" she pointed the giant elephant stuffed toy.

"Shooting? That's to easy."

"Well...Lets gooo."

We are now infront of the targets. This is too easy. I pointed the toy gun onto the card bords. I shoot and shoot. Bulls eye! I got all boards down.

"Yayyyy!" Sana was jumping happily. Cute.

I didnt noticed that there were people around us watching. Some boys are watching Sana while girls with red lipsticks were looking at me. I felt uneasy so we left with her plusshy.

It was nearing sunset when we rode the ferris wheel. A park with a ferris wheel. Yes.

I stared at Sana's amused eyes. My favourite part of her. "Vantae, what do you think about me?" She suddenly asked while looking outside.

"I like you. The whole you. You always makes my day bright."

She looked at me. She smiled once again, genuinely. "Thank you, Vantae."

"For what?"

"For existing." She said then took a gazed outside.

I felt my heart beating so fast. Im so lucky to have her. Do i deserve someone like her?

Looking outside the window, I realised how lucky i am still. Sana is here. My dad is here. My friends are here. They are here.

"Vantae."

"Hmm?"

"I like you."

I immediately looked at her. There were no signs of lies in her eyes. I was out of words. She... Likes me. She likes me!
