He told himself she wouldn't appear. That must be why she didn't want him to pick her up. This was just one of her pranks and he had been fooled.

However, to his disbelief, she appeared ten minutes later, all smiles, carrying her suitcase and passport, with a cup of Starbucks on her other hand.

"Annyeong, Oppa."

"Daebak. You're really here."

"Eyyyy, you have so little faith in me."

She's wearing a gray dress and a long cardigan, with the blue bracelet he gave her last Valentine.

"Are you that happy?" she teased.

"Ne. I'm crazily happy."

"Paboo Oppa."

"Yeppeun aegi."

She smiled, as he hugged her waist and carried her suitcase.

They arrived at the first day of July. Even after entering the suite at the Ritz, he hadn't felt it's real yet.

It was late, though.

"I'm tired, Oppa. Let's just rest tonight, ok?"

He agreed, knowing how many times she had yawned during the trip from the airport to the hotel.

She was already asleep when he finished showering, so he too, lied beside her then slept.

After breakfast the next day, she said, "Oppa, let's go to the Louvre today, then I have an appointment at 5 p.m. at a salon. Afterwards...... Let's have dinner here."

He just nodded, finding it a little hard to focus because she was wearing a pretty lilac dress that morning.

France was both the Lee and Kim families favorite holiday destination. Everytime they returned, they visited Louvre. Go Eun said it's "saying hello to old friends."

The salon was situated at a mall. They had lunch there, then on the way to the salon, they walked passed La Perla lingerie boutique.

He passed it without commenting, so she pulled his hand.

"Um........ Oppa, do you want me to buy any of those?"

"Buy what?"

She pointed at the boutique.

"Lingerie? No."

"Why not? I thought men like their girls wearing those."

"I don't. I think it's redundant. You'll wear it for three minutes then I'll take it off. Why wear it at all?"

She blushed then left him.

"Yah, you started it!!!"

She entered the salon without saying anything else, only texting him, "Pick me up at 7."

She waved her hair and put on a flawless makeup at the salon.

His heart stopped for a second, as she asked, "Not bad, right?"

"You look awesome" he praised, kissing her cheek.

They returned to the Ritz and had dinner there. There was a pianist playing, and she mumbled the tune when she recognized the songs.
