Tʜᴇ Rᴇᴘʟᴀʏs Rᴜɴ ғᴏʀ Yᴏᴜ

In the midst of war, the true faces of those you once knew are revealed. Or that is what most thought. Some hide it well, even in the darkest times but there shall always be something or someone that will bring said darkness out. 

Venway checked through rubble to see if any survivors were left. The attack made by the Decepticons  left them in a grave state. Most of them were either offlined or giving up on their cause, joining the factions to get power or revenge for the fallen ones. 

"Ven..." A scratchy voice was heard beneath her. She tried as hard as she could to get the fallen stone off her comrade. "Jaegar, hold on!" She screamed as she sped up, wanting to at least have him alive when she finished taking the rubble off him.

She kept trying and trying, making her remember why she was here in the first place.

Some Mega-Cycles ago...

Everyone in the station were called upon the hall to receive an important announcement. Some were joking, saying they were going to announce the war over, while others were whispering that their commander was going to sell them to the factions. In a way, it all ended with the latter.

Venway was in the hall along side Jaegarbomb and Halconnen. They were chatting, mostly about how bad being stuck in this factory was and the announcement. "But what if the rumors are true? What if the war is over?" The young Halconnen cheered and hoped. His bright demeanor was what kept Venway and Jaegarbomb up in this grim of days here in the station.

"Hah! I think you are hoping too much kid. This war has been going on for some time now and there seems to be no end in sight." Jaegerbomb sneered at the younger bot. "But he does raise a question. Why is everyone here? What is so important that they had to reunite us all here now?" Venway asked, hoping it was just a loosing announcement about cutting their supplies and not something worse.

"Hey, protoforms look!" Jaegerbomb shouted as their leader, Starscream, entered the hallway, with his two guards, Skywarp and Thundercracker. "If the almighty leader is here it must be something big. He usually never comes out from the chamber." 

"Attention everyone! Commander Starscream is to announce something." Jetfire commanded, trying to make everyone look to his direction. "Oh this must be good." Venway whispered to Halconnen, who was chuckling.

"Comrades!" Starscream started his speech. He knew no one would take him seriously since he never was seen outside of his bunker but the fate of everyone and the station laid in their hands. "I have information that you all need to hear." His voice was becoming stern. "I have heard from some of our allies back at the planet that the Decepticons are coming."

Afterwards, everyone in the hallway remained silent. The Decepticons were coming here? It didn't take long for them to go into panic. "Everybody keep calm!" Starscream sent Thundercracker and Skywarp to relax the masses. "If we plan this well, we might keep the station and our sparks where they should be." 

Present Time...

Venway curses inwardly, Starscream promised to keep them safe but he lied and now, not only are there offlined Cybertronians everywhere, but the substance that they put their sparks on line for became Decepticon property.
