In Venway's memory, everything after Starscream's speech happened too fast. Everyone went running off to their assigned work station and getting ready for the impending attack. In a station filled with rouges, ex-political officers and former sky warriors, you'd think they'd be more prepared for something like this. It was complete chaos, left and right were the patrons panicking and crying over how their doom was near and how Decepticons have no mercy for deserters like them. Venway tried to avoid running into a huge crowd of these and while successful, she was left wondering if they were right. What if their doom was close by to them? She shook the feeling away knowing it was just paranoia invading their thoughts.

All the while, Starscream was giving out orders to shoot down the enemy ship once it was near the station. It was of utmost importance that Megatron did not get a hold of what the station has been hiding for thousands of years. A substance so destructive and powerful that once it was developed, it destroyed almost half the station and took the sparks of many, Dark Energon.

Starscream knew Megatron couldn't control such a thing and just end up killing them all. "What a fool. The mech starts a revolution and suddenly thinks he is unstoppable." Jetfire, whom was next to him at the time, couldn't help but doubt his old friend. "You may be right but we still should not solely rely on outside offense and defense. We have to increase our mechpower here as well, just in case Megatron comes bursting in." Starscream turned to look at him, with a slight grin. Jetfire always seemed to underestimate him."Oh, do not worry, for I have a way to deal with Megatron just in case he does get this far into the station, Jetfire. So don't wrap your helm in such petty things." Jetfire nodded in response but still was bothered of this.

"Hold it there, young fella. Where do ya think yer going?" The young brown mech looked up to the blue ex-wrecker whom stopped him mid-way to exiting the weapons chamber. "What do you think, Jaegar? I'm out to kick some Decepticon aft!" Jaegarbomb grabbed Halconnen by the shoulder and pulled him back in, looking at the ex-scout in the optics. "Oh no. You shall stay near Ven and keep an eye in case the enemy does come in close to her." The young mech quickly frowned but nodded. "I-I shall try my best... But what will the others say?" Halconnen said in a low sigh.

"I'll just make up a story about how the higher ups. Now go along." The older mech gestured him to leave to which he ran off to go near the med-bay to then get ready for what might be his last battle. However, it didn't mean he was not ready. Unlike the rest, Jaegarbomb was always ready to take down any threat. Whether it be Decepticons or, and he has surpassed the feeling of guilt when he beated them up, Autobots, he was ready. As he finally gathered the weapons he decided to use during this invasion, he headed towards where he and some others were to defend if the enemy entered the station. "Are you all ready?" Was one of the last words he heard before the disaster.

Present time...

As she finally removed all the rubble off the older mech, Venway felt her spark ache seeing his state. His frame was leaking energon from his neck, his right arm was almost pulled out of it's socket, his frame was cut open revealing wires and cables and his sparkchameber was opened up with his spark almost shattered to pieces.  "V-ven..." He spoke, his tone almost fading. She grabbed one of his servos and held it near her,  checking his burst to see that it was slow. "V-ven... I w-want you... To f-finish me..." He looked at the blaster near to him on the ground and, with what movement he had left, picked it up and gave it to her. "No!" Venway pushed back the gun. "I shall not shoot you down, Jaegar... I-i'll fix you... I know I can... Please... Just hold on..." Her optics started to lubricate and she couldn't help but be shaken by this. The wrecker cupped her cheek and smiled. "I know... But... Why keep working on a old pile of scrap like me?" He chuckled and offered the gun again. "Just do it... Do it... For me?" She nodded concernedly and took the blaster, pointing it at the center of his forehelm. "S-say hi t-to Halconnen for me." She looked away and pulled the trigger.
