Louis has been here for a couple weeks now, so he's helping me get, as mum calls it, "settled in". All I did was chuck my stuff in my old room, then Lou and I went for a walk around town like we did when we were younger.

"Louis." I start, figuring that he'll already know where this conversation is going.

He turns to look at me, and I can see that he's torn as  to what to say.

"They moved back."  Why? Why would they move back here? Here of all places. They hated it here. Mr. and Mrs. Styles were always fighting and arguing about how much they didn't like it here or how loud their neighbours were.

"Why here... don't they have like fifty other house all over the world? Why not move anywhere there?" I probably sound like a whining little child, complaining about something totally useless.

"May, you know why. He loved it here." Louis explains, putting his arm over my shoulder. Well , he's trying to but he's not quite tall enough to do so.

"I used to love being here, around all these pretty little houses, you know. But then he ruined it, just like a shit ton of other things." I huff, staring at my shoes as we walked.

"I know babes. But you don't have to talk to him"

"Yeah, like that's gonna work." I deadpan, rolling my eyes. "Louis, I didn't know he was going to be here, otherwise I never would have came."

"Yeah, I guess you're right."  Louis agrees as we sit down on one of those silly little green park benches. "But May, you're gonna have to stop being such a baby about it. You're not 16 anymore."

"I know.. I guess I'm being a little bit dramatic." I look around at all of the people going for their evening strolls with their cute furry dogs and little children who are crying for absolutely no reason. Fucking children.

"Yes, you are." He chuckles, shaking his head.

"Well, who do you think I got it from mister?" I laugh thinking about how alike Lou and I are. We really did act similar.

"Yeah, yeah, I get it, I'm a terrible influence." Louis turns to me with a lit cigarette in his hand, offering me to take a drag.

"How's the business working for you, Lou?" I ask taking the a light drag and keeping the smoke in my mouth.

"Which one? Dad's or the other one."  He qestions,

"The other one." I say, slowling blowing the smoke out of my mouth.

"Oh, great. Something big coming up soon." He reveals, taking bag the cigarette

"You're leaving?" I pout. Normaly when something big happens for this business, he has to leave, and I may be selfish, but I don't want to stay here if he's not here. Maybe he will let me come with him this time.

"No no no, I'm staying." As he blows the smoke out of his mouth, I watch it curl around in circles and dissapate into the breeze. His lips form a smirk as he teases me,"Why Maevie? You just couldn't bear to be without me?"

"No, I couldn't." I state truthfully, "You know that I hate it here." I just hope that whatever announcement my parents had would be over soon so I could go back home.

"Bad memories?" He asks, turning to look me, to watch my expression. He knows what happened here five years ago and he knows it has never been the same since.

"Bad memories." I repeat, taking the cigarette back again.

"So, how's things with Aidan?" I can tell he's trying to lighten the conversation, but without knowing, he makes it worse.
