Judging

I came home to my parents fighting, it seems the only good thing they do together is fight and act like everything is okay. What great liars (sarcasm) music makes the pain go away. sometimes my brother walk into my room with a teddy bear in one hand and rubbing his eyes. None of us can sleep with their fighting, so he cuddles with me until everything is done. Every night Jeffry asks the same question "why does mommy and daddy fight?" And every night I tell him the same thing "I don't know but be sure to be twice the man he is". He's only 8 and he's my whole world, anyone hurts him they will get hurt.
Sometimes he comes home with bruises and cuts. I ask but he likes to keep to himself. The teachers believe he does it on purpose to get dads attention and love but it never works. After school he runs to cry to dad but dads not here, he spends 10 minutes running around the house trying to find him before he realizes, it's heart breaking.
People look at us and assume that we are happy but we aren't, it takes me hours to dry his tears. After all that I take him to school and then I go to school. He's the best part of my day (don't tell Skye or sasha)
