The roast dinner went down splendidly with the Weasleys, in fact, Mrs Weasley had decided that next time they were all home she was going to teach all of them how to cook, secretly Flick felt there were a few basic life skills the purebloods were missing but she wasn't going to say anything, god help the poor woman who ended up with one of those twins.
A few days after their big family meal Felicity found herself eating breakfast almost falling asleep into the bowl of cereal in front of her, she had had a very tiring night. Flick and George got left alone in the firelight at around one and any time they were able to get any privacy alone that they didn't spend sleeping they spent doing the other thing. There was still a dull ache in the bottom of the girl's stomach, the soft glow on both her and the boy next to her made it all worth it, however.
The soft blush that was creeping up Felicity's cheeks as she thought of last night was pushed down as she was snapped from her daydreams.
'Posts here,' George stated which seemed a bit redundant as Errol had just flown straight into the window and by the looks of it was now unconscious underneath the window.
'That ruddy bird,' Mrs Weasley tutted as she reached out of the window and grabbed the letters.
'Oh, it's your letters from Hogwarts,' she smiled handing them around the table.
'Dress robes?' Hermione asked looking around curiously to see if the others had that on their lists, 'what are they for?'
'They for formal occasions,' Percy started to explain,
'Yeah, like a ball,' Charlie smirked earning himself a very rude look from Percy who promptly got up and left muttering that he desperately needed to give his newest report to Mr Crouch.
'I'm sure he'll love it, Weatherby,' Fred added quickly.
However, most of this conversation had drowned out around Felicity, everything had become muffled, her attention on her lap and the shiny pin that had fallen there.
'Felicity?' Ginny asked noticing her uncharacteristic silence.
Heads slowly turned to Felicity until Mrs Weasley walked behind her, 'oh my goodness,' she exclaimed beaming with pride down her.
'I'm head girl,' she mumbled softly not fully believing it or knowing how to process this information.
'Oh, well done!' Hermione smiled at her from the other end of the table.
'Yeah that's brilliant,' Ron smiled understanding the lack of happiness on the girls features.
Harry couldn't hold it in he laughed, 'how the hell are you head girl you're normally the brains behind them,' he gestured to the twins and this is when Felicity finally got the courage to look to them. They both look deeply offended.
'Head girl,' Fred croaked out, 'how could you?'
'Oh shut up,' Mrs Weasley scolded, 'don't be so silly, I'm very proud of you my darling.'
Felicity knew it wasn't really a big deal but she wasn't quite sure why the pair of trouble makers had been so quiet, she expected jokes and teasing not this weird eerie calm.
They sat quietly for a moment before Fred exclaimed, 'this is brilliant! I've got my very own head girl, I'm never going to get caught again.'
'She can give you detention, you'll be in more trouble,' Hermione said very sternly before Mrs Weasley had the chance to make the same point.
'As if,' Fred said dismissing them, 'she'd never do that to me would you Flicky?'
Flick stuttered not really knowing what to say or who to side with.
