— When 18 year old Natalie Winchester's best friend, Emma, goes missing halfway into their senior year, she takes it upon herself to figure out what happened to her. But when Sam and Natalie's year of the "apple pie life" while Dean and Castiel were in purgatory puts a strain on their family, the youngest Winchester figures out that finding her friend isn't very high on Dean's list of priorities. While the brothers enlist prophet Kevin Tran to translate the word of God in an attempt to seal Hell forever and Castiel deals with the aftermath of returning from purgatory, Natalie must handle this investigation on her own. What she doesn't expect, though, is to find out that she isn't as alone as she thinks she is. In a daring and rebellious adventure to find and save her friend, Natalie encounters someone who offers her something she's longed for all her life...for a price, of course. But is it one she's willing to pay?
