months has passed since the two teenagers met last.
nationals were approaching quickly.
the girls team at shiratorizawa were practicing hard and the boys played as the 'opposing' team.
it was a little bit of a challenge for the girls as the boys had hight and just little more power.

you shifted the weight of yourself from one leg to another.
"am i the only nervous one here?" your teammate, arabelle, asked
"it's not just your belle, it's all of us. nationals aren't fun and are pretty scary" poala answers arabelle.
"it's true," you said.
"nationals aren't a place to go to and have fun. this is serious. as i have played for years, i've never not been nervous for nationals. all we can do right now is try and collect ourselves. deep breaths everyone" you told your team, in an effort to calm them.
"N/N!" a familiar voice called out to you.
you turned around to see none other the bokuto running at you and akaashi right be hind him waking.
he ran up to you,picked you up while simultaneously hugging you.
a 'hmph' noise escaped your mouth when he squeezed you.
he put you down, still hugging you.
this gave you the opportunity to wrap your arms around his neck.
"bokutooooooo" you mumbled into his chest
"n/nnnnnnn" he said back in the same way you said his.
"i've missed youuhh" he whined out
a muffled 'i missed you too' came from you.
"uuh n-n/n, we um we have to get going soon" arabelle told you slightly staring at bokuto.
"mmmm you're right belle. i have to go kō, AKAASHI" you said going up to him and hugging him similarly to how you hugged bokuto.
akaashi grabbed your wist and said 'sorry i really want to make kō jealous'
you simply nodded as a response.
akaashi kissed the top of your head.
