Junkyu's POV

"Let me take care of her... for the last time."

"I was just about to ask you to do so." Asahi handed her to me and patted my back.

"I can't afford to raise suspicions about us dating right now. It'll only make things worse. I'll go tell Mrs. Kang and the twins about these."

I nodded at him and immediately contacted my manager. I told him to wait for me at the backdoor of the building and that it's an emergency so he have to hurry.

I saw the staffs looking at us as I ran towards the backdoor but I didn't pay any attention to them.

I just want to make sure she's going to be fine.

"Manager hyung! Open the door hurry!" He went out of the van and opened the door for us. He didn't even asked where we're going because it's already obvious that we need to go at the hospital.

"Junkyu... I'm sorry..." I looked at Seowoo and realized that she's the one talking. Her eyes are closed but she kept on opening and closing her mouth. It's as if she wants to speak but don't have the energy to do so.

"I'm sor... I... still... lo... you..." I had a hard time understanding her because her voice is slowly getting soft at times.

I didn't notice that we already arrived at the hospital and only noticed when my manager opened the door

"Junkyu I'll bring her inside. You can just stay here." My manager told me but I shook my head and carried Seowoo out of the van.

I ran towards the emergency room and nurses immediately tended to her. I was told to stay outside and I just agreed since it's for Seowoo's sake.

After about 30 minutes, the doctor went out and asked me if I'm her relative. When I was about to say no, I heard Mrs. Kang voice saying she is Seowoo's mom.

"She's stable for now. She must've been so stressed and it also seemed like she's been skipping meals. She needs to take a rest to regain her strength before doing anything."

They transferred Seowoo to a private room and just when Mrs. Kang and I were about to go inside Asahi arrived while holding the twin's hands. Seoyun ran towards me and I knelt down to meet her.

"Dada! You're here!" She smiled at me so widely that I almost cried.

"Don't worry! Mommy is going to be alright!" Seoyun told me and this time, I wasn't able to stop my tears.

"Dada don't cry..." Seoyun told me as she wiped my tears with her little hands. I just smiled and nodded at her because I was so overwhelmed with my emotions.

"Let's go inside." Mrs. Kang told me as she patted my back. I stood up and carried Seoyun and we went inside the room where Seowoo is transferred.

Asahi left when the twins fell asleep because he was called by the company.

She's still unconscious and when I stared at her face for a very long time, I just noticed that she looked really tired.

I should've noticed it earlier. Why am I always late at everything?

"Don't blame yourself. It's not your fault." Mrs. Kang told me as she sat behind me.

"You're starting to look like your old self again." My... old self?

"What do you mean Mrs. Kang?"

"Your old self. When you came to our villa because of depression." Memories suddenly started to flash back.

"Seowoo wouldn't like it. She tried her best to help you recover back then." I suddenly smiled as I remembered all of the things we did together.

We were both broken back then.

"Thank you for accepting her relationship with Asahi." Mrs. Kang told me as she caressed Seowoo's hair.

"I... just realized that... she'll be happier if she's with Asahi."

"That's right... she's happy with him..." Mrs. Kang told me which made me feep more broken.

"But back then... you made her happier than Seunghun did." She looked at me and smiled.

"Sometimes, when you meet someone new after ending your relationship with someone without any closure, it would naturally seem like you're happier with someone you're with right now... that's because you're trying to convince yourself that you're happy. Not because you're truly happy."

"Mrs. Kang... what are you..."

"I think she still loves you."
