Junkyu's POV

My eyes immediately went towards the bathroom door when I heard it open. It revealed a fully clothed Seowoo, towel wrapped on her hair and flushed cheeks.

I guess she's still thinking about what I told her earlier.

I tried to stop my laughter as she looked away from me. I just grabbed the clothes that I prepared and the towel she gave me earlier.

"We could've saved water if you let me join you."

"Kim Junkyu, stop teasing me!" I chuckled at her statement and pinched her cheeks.

"But you're obviously enjoying it, Seowoo." I smiled meaningfully at her and went straight to the bathroom.

I chuckled I remembered Seowoo's reaction on my teasing. I just missed teasing her because these past few months, all I saw is sadness on her eyes.

I dried myself with a towel as soon as I finished bathing and wore the clothes that I prepared.

When I got out of the bathroom, Seowoo is trying to feed the twins but they won't. I approached the table and saw that it's vegetables.

"Wow! What's this! It's Daddy's favorite!" I told them as I picked up a fork and ate a broccoli. I screamed internally as the taste spread on my whole mouth.

"Junkyu you don't ea-"

"Wow it's so yummy!" I widened my eyes at Seowoo and smiled at the twins. They both looked at me and at the broccoli on the plate.

They then tried to eat the broccoli and before they even get to complain about the taste, I showered them with compliments which made them smile.

Goodness, I thank myself for watching The Return of Superman. I sure learned a lot from that variety show.

I saw Seowoo smiling at me and mouthed me thank you.

"If I did a good job, I deserve a reward, right?" I whispered at Seowoo and her eyebrows furrowed.

"What rewar-" I didn't let her finish and I kissed her cheeks.

"Junkyu!" I smiled widely at her and saw the twins giggling while looking at us.

"This is nice." Seowoo suddenly spoke as I took a bite of the food she prepared.

"What's nice?" She looked back at the twins and smiled.

"This. Doing everything with you. It's nice."

"It would've actually been nicer if we took a bat-"

"Do you want to be left alone today, Kim Junkyu?" Seowoo gave me a sinister smile which made me laugh nervously and smile.

"I was just kidding... hehe."

Seowoo's POV

After the chaotic breakfast, I immediately brought the twins back to the bathroom to help them brush their teeth because Junkyu volunteered to wash the dishes.

When we finished, my phone rang and it was Jipyeong telling us that they're finally near the hotel.

We were about to go down and I was trying to place masks on Seojun and Seoyun's face but they were protesting.

"Mom I don't want to! It's too hot today!"

"But we have to, Seoyun. It's for our privacy."

"We can go out without masks." Junkyu suddenly spoke which made me furrow my eyebrows.

"I'm here, I can protect you and besides, everyone already knows that they're my child." I just felt happy and I didn't even notice that I was already smiling.

After a few minutes of checking if we forgot something, we finally decided to go down the lobby and wait for Jipyeong.

We did not wait long as he arrived just a few minutes after we arrived at the lobby. Junkyu placed all of our things at the back of Jipyeong's car and I helped the twins settle inside it.

"The beach is quite far so we might need to stop for lunch at a stopover. We'll probably arrive at the beach by nighttime."

Jipyeong continued to drive and I was talking to Yoshioka when I felt something land on my shoulder.

I realized that it was Junkyu and noticed that the twins are also asleep.

"You guys looks so cute together." Yoshioka  told me as a fixed Junkyu head on my shoulders. I caressed his hair and his lips curved into a faint smile.

"He must've been so excited and didn't get to sleep last night." Jipyeong told me as he looked at the rearview mirror.

"Maybe..." I slowly reached for Junkyu's hands and he suddenly intertwined it with mine.

"Don't leave me, Seowoo..." I felt a pang on my chest as his grip on my hand tightened. I caressed his cheeks and wiped the tear that escaped from his eyes.

"I won't leave you again, Junkyu."

Hours passed and the car stopped. We're now at the stopover and I told Jipyeong that can just buy us some food so I can stay with Junkyu and the twins who's still sleeping.

"Oh where are we?" Junkyu suddenly spoke as he sat properly.

"A stopover. Jipyeong is going to buy us some food." He nodded as he checked the twins who's sleeping.

"I was too excited I wasn't able to sleep last night." Junkyu murmured as he laid his head on my shoulders again.

"I was actually scared too." Junkyu suddenly whispered which made me confused.

Why would he be scared? Is it because he still remembers Hyewon?

"Scared? Why?"

"Because you left me at a beach. I'm scared that once I woke up again while staying at the beach, you'll suddenly disappear again."

I suddenly remembered the day that I left him alone at the beach. I didn't really want to leave but... I didn't have any choice.

"Will you promise me, Seowoo?"

"Promise you what?" He reached out his pinky finger.

"That you'll be by my side when I wake up tomorrow." I reached out my pinky finger to him and locked our pinkies.

"I won't leave you again, Junkyu. I promise."
