The best Christmas present anyone can ever receive is the love from family and friends.
It can be lonely sometimes when you're living away from the rest of your family. So almost every year we go abroad and celebrate Christmas with everyone. It brings lots of joy and laughter especially with my cousins. Catching up with everyone fascinates me. I love meeting new members of the family - born or married - it just brings a smile to my face.
On Christmas Day, it's my grandmother's birthday, so it's a double celebration as we all gather around the table and sing Happy Birthday as she cuts her cake.
This year has been a hard year for all of us, but it never stopped us from keeping in contact with the ones we love. We got to speak with my grandmother via Messenger and it was lovely to hear from everyone!
So all was not lost as we still got our Christmas present of Family Love even if we were not physically there.
