I pushed open the old creaky door and looked inside. What a sight met my eyes! A room full of mirrors - big ones, small ones, and even tall ones. We only just moved house, and it was told that this room was hidden somewhere within, but it was never told that it would be found in the dark corner of my new bedroom.
Intrigued, I stepped into the room. I was never fond of mirrors as I detested my reflection, but for some reason, these mirrors pulled me in as though they were calling for me.
As I looked in one of the mirrors, I gasped. It wasn't me that I was looking at, but a beautiful princess.
"I like this reflection." I thought as I smiled. But then I peered into the next mirror and screamed for there was what seemed like a hideous monster looking back at me. I looked around the room, each mirror showed me someone different. I came to realise that all these mirrors held a different story - stories about who I was, how I felt inside.
Heart pounding, I rushed out the room and slammed the door shut. I slumped against the door to catch my breath and looked down at my feet. They were aching from the rapid speed of my escape.
As I slowly looked up, I saw a girl grinning straight at me. It didn't take me long to figure out it was another mirror and the reflection of me had a glint of eeriness in her eyes.
"That door should have stayed closed, because there's no hiding now." She said with a ghostly tone in her voice. "Whatever you've been keeping away, will eventually come out to play...if you don't face them first!"
