Lurking Darkness (Main Timeline)

A City in Ruin

You, Ruby and Weiss all get a distress beacon sent to your scrolls.

"It's Oscar!" Weiss says.

"Ms. Calavera, take us there."

"On it." She tells Ruby. Maria flies the ship straight for Oscar. Blake looks at you, injures, but managing to hang on. Yang then gets a message to her scroll.

"It's Joanna! She offering a place to lay low."

"Drop us off there first, Y/n needs help right now and they can do that."

"Plus it's along the way to Oscar." Blake adds.

"Fine." Maria says. She lands the ship at the coordinates and you, Blake and Yang, Jaune, Nora and Ren, and finally Pietro and Penny exit and go into the building. Once you make it inside, you collapse.

"Y/n! What's wrong?" Blake asks.

"Using my Semblance to stop me from bleeding is taking its toll, I need help." You tell her, Joanna and May both come help you.

"We've gotcha." Joanna says. They both grab under an arm and semi carry you over to a table. May picks up a needle.

"This should totally numb the pain, then we'll suture it for now." You nod and feel a pinch.

"Why're you helping us? We were against you from the start." You ask Joanna.

"Because it's our job. Plus I feel like you guys could help us."

"A favor then."

"You could say that. I'll tell everyone when they are back, until then, you need a new arm. You can't wield your fancy spear without one." Joanna tells you.

"Who in Mantle has a fake arm?"

"Uhm, duh? We have tons of prosthetics. We've raided tons of military compounds and taken them." May replies to you.

"Well? Show me." You say. You follow May out of the room and she leads you into the armory.

"Did you let Yang name this room?" You ask.

"Yes, we know, ironic name." May says with slight annoyance. She walks you over to the prosthetics.

"Take your pick. Come find me when you've decided and we'll begin to attach it." She leaves the room and you stand in an area filled with lifeless hunks of metal mixed with Dust to enhance their strength. You see hundreds of arms, lefts and right, luckily you only need a right. As you walk through the room, you see many arms, one that looks like a totally normal arm, but upon closer inspection unfurls into a giant laser.

"Yea no." You walk away from it. You see one with a red gem in the center of the palm, you decide against it because it'd be uncomfortable dealing with a giant gem in your palm. You see one with a retractable blade and marking on it, also no because the blade is very cumbersome.

"Hmm... Pyrrha? You got any suggestions?"
"What about... that one." You manifest Pyrrha's Aura and she points at one at the end of the hall.

"Pyrrha. I love your style." You smile and walk toward the new appendage.
