Pent Up Aggressions

"I still can't believe that thing spoke."
"Grimm shouldn't be able to do that."
"Ya think?" You sarcastically say to Pyrrha. You continue to drive along the icy tundra chasing after the Grimm that kidnapped Oscar.

Jaune: "He's going to lose us in these mountains, we can't keep up!" Jaune yells out, the hoverbike you're driving jitters, you look at the on-board screen detailing the bikes status, you notice the bike beginning to freeze. You heat up and attempt to melt the ice away.

Ren: "I don't know how much longer these bikes can keep up!" Ren yells to Jaune.

Yang: "I really wish one of us could fly right now." Yang says, Jaune sits up and says aloud.

Jaune: "Wait, hold on!" Jaune moves the bike toward you and Ren.

(cont.): "Ren! I'm going to get you up there!" He unravels his shield, Ren stands up and jumps off of the bike and onto Jaune's shield, Jaune activates his gravity dust in his shield and sends Ren flying toward the Grimm. Ren fires a blade at the Grimm and latches on.

Y/n: "Nice one!" You and Jaune fist bump, making him off balance, he recovers quickly. You, Yang and Jaune continue pursuit as Ren is flying in the air. You continue to use your Semblance to heat the bike, but your Aura still isn't fully recovered from that hit you took from the Grimm, you have to pace the heat or dare running out of Aura to protect yourself from the harsh conditions of the icy Atlas tundra.

Jaune: "Ren! Hold on!" Jaune yells out to Ren.

Ren: "I don't have much of a choice!" Ren yells back in reply. The Grimm begins to swing Ren around, slamming him into each side of the canyon.

Y/n: "There's gotta be a way to slow it down, or speed us up..." You think to yourself. Ren grapples a boulder and begins to slow it down.

(cont.): "Well that works." You speed up and begin to shoot at the Grimm, attempting to hit its wings, but the Grimm is smart enough to know what you're doing. Ren's blade flies past, scratching your cheek.

(cont.): "Gah!" You exclaim in annoyance.

Yang: "Y/n! Are you oka—!"

Y/n: "I'm fine!" You speed up and does Yang, she takes the high road and you stay down low with Jaune. Yang begins to fire upon the Grimm, it speeds up while now carrying Oscar in its arms. It roars.

(cont.): "Uhm?" You say aloud, as soon as you speak, Centinels appear from the ground impeding you and Jaune's path.

Jaune: "Crap!" Jaune says.

Yang: "Did it just call for backup?" Yang asks.

Y/n: "You could say that!" You yell out, pulling your rifle off of your back and firing at each of the Centinels. Jaune swings his sword at each one in his path. Ren is still swinging into moutain sides, holding on tight. You begin to hear a loud beeping noise, you look at the screen and notice half of the bike is completely frozen.

(cont.): "Dammit!" You think about hopping on Jaune's bike, but before you can, a Centinel appears in front of you.

(cont.): "SHIT!!" Your bike runs into the Centinel, and everything moves in slow motion. You do a flip and see a Teryx bee-lining straight for Yang. You quickly take aim and fire a perfect shot into its head, the Grimm falls from the sky and you land on your feet, you compete the landing with a roll onto your feet, focus your Aura and Semblance into your legs, and push. The speed you gain from the Semblance boost let's you keep up with the gang and the Grimm, you dodge Centinels left and right and notice Yang and Jaune jumping the bike over a Teryx in front of you. Right after that you notice the cliff, as do Yang and Jaune.
