When I have calmed down and finished my cup of lavender tea, Aiken showed me around his place. It's a huge tree house overlooking the entire Kingdom. Although from up here, all I could ever glimpse was the green leaves of the trees in the forest and the thick white mist that surrounded the entire Kingdom, concealing its real image down below.

The tree house is made of logs and clasped with wooden locks. The windows and doorways are made of glass. Each is framed with a different kind of wood. It's scarred and dark, almost black. The ambiance screamed of comfort and silence that I could almost hear the whimper of that man earlier as Prince Ekkier drove his sword onto his chest. It was gruesome. And at that moment, I hoped that there wouldn't be circumstances for me to meet the Prince Ekkier. That guy is scary.

"There's some people I would like you to meet Vie. Okay lang ba?" Aiken asked in a cautious tone. I showered and changed earlier so I decided that it's fine. I'm wearing a flowing silk dress in the color of olives, and golden strap sandals that Aiken provided. My hair tumbled down my shoulders as I faced him with a small smile on my face.

I nodded and followed him through the steep wooden steps of the elegant staircase. Silver laced around the edges and it is polished with varnish that it shone under the bright light that escaped through the clear windows.

Two individuals waited for us downstairs. One man and one woman. The man is wearing black hunting gears, black combat boots and a handsome face with his golden hair shining through the light. The woman wears the same garments with the man, only that it fits her perfectly and defines each curve in her body, her face angelic if not for a small scar on her cheek. They bent their knees when they caught a glimpse of their Prince. Aiken lent out his hand for mine and I held it softly as I stepped on the last step of the staircase.

"Our Prince, welcome back." Both said in unison. Aiken told them to rise and they did.

"My Prince, I bring tedious news from the Palace. The Queen wishes for your sister's head in the next fortnight. She declared that whoever—" Aiken stopped the woman from speaking any further by saying,

"That is not why I have asked for you, Vesna." The man with golden strikes of hair spoke almost immediately.

"The Princess and Prince of El He Chizo have fled El Suelo My Prince. They have found out about—" again, Aiken interrupted him.

"That's not the reason why either." Both looked confused and for a moment wonder shown from their faces before finally noticing my presence.

Their eyes settled over me, weighing who I may be and what my business is with their Prince might be. It made me feel uncomfortable just like how uneasy I was when paparazzis flock over me. Only this time black menacing orbs stared at me instead of flashing cameras.

"This is Seraphine Vienna Alvarez. My lady." He stopped to look at me and I averted my eyes to hide the embarrassment in my face and my flushed cheeks. He's going around claiming that.

Aiken cleared his throat before continuing, "I ask of you to accompany her when the time comes that I must go to El Suelo or meet with my Queen mother in the Palace. Both of your attention must only be directed at her and her safety. That's an order." Both nodded and bowed right in front of me and said,
