In the past before the apple incident

Sunset just got done making two flower crowns  that he made with sunflowers and Dandelions he had found in the forest that him and Micah were in away from seeing eyes he put one of the flower crowns onto his head then stood up to put the other on Micahs head unfortunately Sunset made his a little too big so when he sat back down it tilted to where it covered a bit of his eye socket this made both Micah and Sunset giggle

Micahs POV
I noticed that he was getting dark I started getting up "Come on Dream we better get going it's going to be dark soon"I said holding my hand out to help him up he grabbed it and I hoisted him up and the started walking the direction where I thought the village was.....

~A while later~
It has fully turned nighttime and we still haven't come across the tree or the village "I could have sworn we came from the this direction..."I grumbled under my breath I felt Dream grab my hand I looked down towards him to see him shaking and looking towards some bushes "Hey what's wrong are you cold?"I asked "N-No I just thought I heard something moving over there"Dream said I looked at the bushes that he was looking at I got a eerie feeling that we were being watched "Hey come on we gotta keep going"I said keeping a good grip on Dreams hand walking away I could feel Dreams panic began to rise as we kept hearing more rustling He put his other hand on my arm and tightly gripped my sleeve while also tightening his grip on my hand I looked down at him again from the corner of my eye socket and saw him trying to get closer to me whatever is following us or what he saw has him scared to death I lift my arm that he had death grip on and made him go up in the air only for me to put my arm that he wasn't clinging onto underneath his legs and carrying him bridal style while also having a firm group on him in case we have to run I don't want to accidentally drop him or to make sure he doesn't go flying if we fall as I'm carrying him I started picking up the pace of my walk which also made the thing fasten its pace I don't know how to use my wings yet because I haven't exactly used them and I can't exactly float because that could cause me to drop the scared Dream in my arms eventually I just said frick it and started running while Dream had his arms around my neck clinging for dear life eventually by luck we made it back to the village luckily everyone was inside hopefully sleeping so no one would notice a floating Dream when we made to the tree we saw that Nightmare was fast asleep like everyone else was we could tell that he had been crying probably due to panicking... 

~Third person POV~
Micah set Dream down by the sleeping Nightmare once Dream had touched the ground he jumped onto him and started to hug him as if he was going to dust soon that in result made Nightmare jolt up and to take a moment to process the situation once Nightmare had processed what was going on he immediately hugged Dream back "Are you ok?!what happened to you why were you gone for so long?!"Asked Nightmare while slightly yelling "Yes I'm ok Brother I just got lost  in the woods now let's go to sleep"Dream said letting go of his brother and smiling "Ok if you say so..."Nightmare said and the cuddled up to Dream they both fell asleep Micah also cuddled up to Dream and slowly started drifting off to sleep looking up at the sky.....
