After a while, Iyu heard footsteps coming up. The door slammed open and her step mother and two step sisters came in. "Get up!" Yelled the step mother. Iyu got up timidly. Her two step sisters smiled wickedly. "Come here!" The step mother said. When Iyu didn't move, the step mother took a chair and threw it at Iyu. The chair tumbled down with Iyu onto the ground. Katami came up and slapped Iyu and yelled, " Don't disobey my mother!" Asami nodded her head and said, " Mother. Please notice that this beggar tried to escape this house. Maybe we should let het escape. She has nowhere to go." "You're right!" The step mother agreed, "Alright, Iyu. Pack up your stuff and leave. I don't need a beggar like you in my house."
Iyu just sat on the ground not moving. Katami slapped Iyu's cheek again. Only this time it was harder. Katami gave Iyu a warning look, but when Iyu didn't move she said,"Mother. I have something to add to Asami's idea. Let's beat this beggar first. Then we kick her out."
The step mother smiled and nodded her head.
The three of them went away, but Iyu stayed still. She touched her cheek and winced.
Sweat went down her forehead. She started to cry.
The next day, Katami ordered Iyu to go outside. Iyu shook her head. So Katami punched Iyu and said through clenched teeth," Get. Outside. NOW."
By the time Iyu got outside. She saw a bunch of buff men and said," Are you kidding me?"
Fear immediately spread across Iyu's mind.
Katami pushed Iyu onto the ground and said "Start." To the men.
The men started to hit Iyu and soon got in a bigger fight with each other.
Tears ran down Iyu's cheeks because of the pain.
By the time the fighting was over, everyone left Iyu there to die.
Iyu clenched her teeth and got up. She took her luggage and ran away.
"Where will I go?" She asked herself quietly.
Iyu walked out of the street she was in.
Everyone stared at her as she made her way out of the village.
It made Iyu uncomfortable.
So she started to run and run and run.
