Did that really just happen now? Yeah, it did. Were Chaeyoung and Jennie having a good time together? Yes, they were. Was Rosé really about to kiss her? She was thinking about it. Did she finally confess her real feelings to Jennie? No... she didn't.

And she doesn't know when she will get another chance to again.

The butterflies that Chaeyoung had been feeling in her stomach a while ago were quickly replaced with that of having someone punch you right in the stomach. What she thought was going to be one of the best moments of her life quickly turned into the most confusing as a saddened Chaeyoung had left the kitchen with a heavy heart.

As she was walking back to her room, Chaeyoung brought her hand up to her mouth to cover the little yawn that she was trying to hold back. Oh, and sleepy. She felt so sleepy.

Honestly, with everything that has happened these past few days, from dealing with the aftermath of the Samsung event, to being Jennie's supportive shoulder to cry on, to dealing with the swarms of blinks at the airports. It was an emotional rollercoaster to say the least.

Chaeyoung felt both emotionally and physically tired. Maybe Jennie was right, it had been a long day and she should probably get some rest now.

Rosé finally reached her bedroom door and placed a hand on the doorknob but stopped herself from entering. She couldn't go in... something just wasn't sitting right with her about what had just happened.

'Thanks for trying to make me feel better.'

*thud*

Chaeyoung lightly banged her head against her door as she let those exact words Jennie told her a while ago replay in her head.

"Trying...trying??" the blond quietly spoke to herself.

What happened? One minute she and Jennie were laughing and having (what she considered) small intimate moments together in the kitchen and Chaeyoung was a second, just a second, away from finally confessing and telling Jennie how she really feels about her.

Then, out of nowhere, Jennie's mood completely changed. She went from laughing and smiling to being her distant self again.

After letting go of the doorknob Rosé turned around, leaned back against her bedroom door and slid down to the floor. She brought her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around them.

'Did I do something wrong?' the blond thought to herself.

Did she do something wrong? Was it something that she said? Something that she did? Where did she go wrong? How could they have gone from having a good time together to them even almost sharing a kiss together, just for Jennie wanting to be left alone again?

'Wait... was it because we almost.... OH MY G-, wait no. She didn't pull away... maybe she did want me to... then why does she want to be alone... I don't know?!?!'

Chaeyoung brought her hands up and frantically scratched her head a bit, trying to make sense of everything that had just happened. Her poor mind was overthinking everything as literally nothing was making any sense to her.

"... I thought I was making her feel better..." Rosé whispered to herself.

Aside from feeling sad and confused, Chaeyoung also felt a little disappointed. Scratch that, she was disappointed, more so in herself. She really felt like she was making Jennie feel better when they were talking.

She thought by telling Jennie how much she looked up to her and how much she admired her, it would help take the girls mind off of the negativity that people were saying about her before and realize how special she thought Jennie was to help cheer her up...guess it didn't work.
