Kaylee's pov~
** we were driving to disneyland. it's my birthday and I couldn't be any happier. As were crossing the intersection I hear an ear pitching scream and a loud crash sound. I'm standing out side the car. "MOMMY DADDY PLEASE SOMEONE SAVE THEM" then a paramedic comes up to me and I hear "Kails" and I feel shaking as he is speaking"Kails wake up!!"***
I shoot up in my bed as my nightmare haunts me again like it has been since the accident. I feel warm arms wrap around me and I sob into Vic's chest. "Did you have the nightmare again?" I nod and continue sobbing into his chest. He tightens his grip on me and starts stroking my hair.
Maybe I should introduce myself first. My name is Kaylee Montrez. I am 16 years old and I've known Vic for as long as I can remember. My parents died in a car accident when I was 13 and the Fuentes family has taken care of me since. I have bright purple hair and bright blue eyes. I go to San Diego High.
Vic continues hugging me and whispers into my ear "Shhh it's gonna be okay Kails I'm right here nothing's gonna happen" I grip onto him tighter and he starts rocking is "she sits up high, surrounded by the sun, one million branches and she loves everyone" he sings softly and I start to calm down to listen. "mom and dad did you search for me I've been up here so long I'm going crazy" he continues and I fully calm down by now. I sit up to look at him and he smiles kindly and wipes my tears with his thumb and places a kiss on my nose. "There all better" he smiles and I let out a little giggle.
I glance at the clock and see that it's 5:30 am. Well at least I'm on time for school. I look up around the room and see Austin, Tony, Jaime, and Alex looking in the room with concern on their faces. I look at Vic and he nods and they all come in the room and give me big hugs.
First is Austin. He gives he a hug and kisses my head. "It seemed so real" I whispered in his ear and he smiles sympathetically and kisses my head again. Next is Alex, I wrapt arms around my neck as he wraps his around my waist. He places a kiss on my nose and smiles at me. Suddenly Jaime runs in and picks me up and spins me around. I laugh and ruffle his hair. "HEY MY HAIR IT TOOK ME A WHOLE 15 MINUTES FOR THIS" we all laugh as he walks off. Finally Tony comes and hugs me and I hug him tight. He strokes my hair as I relax into him and he strokes my hair as I relax into him. Mike then walks into the room. "Who's hungry?" We all nod and look at each other. "who's down to go to ihop for breakfast?" We all nod in agreement and part our ways to get ready. I change into my falling in reverse t shirt and black ripped skinnies. I add a couple bracelets and brush my bright purple fringe, I complete the look with a black beanie and head down the stairs where everyone waits for me. we all pile into Jaime's mini van and drive off to ihop.
