White. That's all I could see, the ground was white, the trees were dressed in a white coat and so were the roofs of the houses nearby. Even the sky had a white tint, probably because lots of clouds swam around it. It looked magical, like I just entered another world, a fairytale.
I stared in awe at the beautiful landscape that displayed in front of my excited gaze. I could see little kids running around, laughing, throwing snowballs at each other. They looked happy, their eyes glistened and their smiles grew bigger as tons of snowflakes fell from the clouded sky.
"a snowball fight sounds amazing right now" I thought, eager to text my friends to meet up. I grabbed my phone from my nightstand and opened my message app. My phone was filled with unread texts from different groups I was in but I didn't feel like opening them so they stayed like that. I opened the groupchat my friends from Karasuno have created and asked if they were up to meeting at the park nearby the school we all attended. I sent the message and went to grab some clothes.
I put on some baggy plaid pants, an oversized sweater, a beige puffy jacket and a pair of black boots. I didn't apply any make-up because I knew snow would eventually hit my face so it would be just a waste and kept my hair down. (if you have short hair then you can have any hairstyle you prefer)

I turned on my phone and saw that most of my friends would come. I exited the house and put my earpieces in, music blasting at full volume in my ears. My thoughts started drifting towards my best friend and long-time crush: Kageyama Tobio. We have been friends since elementary and stayed like that for years now. We had a tight bond, we trusted each other and told the other everything, no matter how bad it was. But there was one thing I couldn't bring myself to tell him and that little thing was that I fell for him. "How cliché, falling for the best friend" I thoughtmockingly.
"Y/N-CHAANNNN!!!" My contemplations were interrupted by a cheery voice calling my name. I looked in the direction of the voice and saw a bright ball of sunshine waving energetically. "Oh, hey, Hinata!" I said politely. He smiled in response, his big eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. Hinata was standing next to a tall boy with raven hair and an angry expression plastered on his sharp features. His navy eyes softened when he looked at my smaller frame, pink dusting his already rosy cheeks. He gave me a small smile and greeted me.
"Hello, guys!" said a voice from behind me. I turned around only to be greeted by the second years. Kinnoshita and Narita greeted me kindly and smiled at us while Ennoshita tried to prevent Tanaka and Noya from hugging me. I chuckled quietly and told him it was ok so he let go of the hems of their shirts. Not even one second later I was tackled by the both of them, each of them embracing me tightly. "You can get off me now" I said, gasping for air. They then got off me, blushing madly and apologizing continuously, while scratching the back of their necks. Tobio looked displeased, a glare forming on his pretty face.
After some minutes everyone arrived so we divided in teams. I was going against Tobio, Tanaka, Daichi, Yamaguchi, Ennoshita, Asahi and Kiyoko while my team consisted of me, Hinata, Tsukki, Sugawara, Kinoshita, Narita and Noya. "It's gonna be interesting" I thought, hands shaking with eagerness. "And it starts NOW" screamed Yachi from the side- she wasn't feeling well so she didn't participate in the fight. (my poor baby ><).
I was the first one to shoot and my bullet-like snowball hit Tanaka right in the nose. I laughed as he pouted, feeling embarrassed. I then started dodging and running, trying to prevent myself from being hit by any small flying weapon. I was giggling as I hit Daichi in the back of the head. He looked angry and confused because he didn't know who threw that snowball so he yelled at Noya as he welted the short libero with a lot of snow.
I ran away from the scene, sprinting through the park, hiding behind a large tree. I was panting and my hands were trembling but I had so much fun. I smiled to myself as I leaned against the tree's hard trunk, the uneven mold slightly scratching my back. I heard footsteps approaching my hiding place so I kept silent, trying to calm down my breathing. I stayed in a crouched position on the soft snow and listened carefully. The strides soon came to a stop right in front of my body. I looked up only to be met by a pair of dark blue eyes piercing through mine.
"Tobio" I whispered, my voice soft and eyes glimmering. I looked at his hand and saw a perfectly spherical snowball resting against his big hand. His gaze never left mine as he slowly approached my figure. I was now standing straight and was taking tiny treads backwards, trying to escape from the enemy that stood right in front of me, staring deeply into my widened eyes.
I looked to my right seeing a wire fence and then to my left, where I noticed nothing besides some trees- therefore no escape for me. I closed my eyes shut, waiting for him to throw the snow at me, but that never came. I opened my left eye and saw my best friend calmly hover over me, eyes dim and smile bright as ever (insert him trying to smile gdsakj).
His face was inches from mine, pink faintly dusting his already rosy cheeks, his plump lips looked soft and his body emanated warmth, making me feel fuzzy inside. I gazed between his deep eyes and mild lips as he did the same. He leaned down a bit, our faces nearly touching each other and closed the space between us, our lips softly pressing together in a passionate kiss. I was shocked at first, but slowly leaned in, wrapping my hands around his neck, as he wrapped his around my waist.
His lips were velvety and mellow, feeling perfect against mine. His grip was gentle, yet firm and I could hear my heartbeat accelerating when he cupped my cheek, running his finger around it. It was wonderful, fireworks were surrounding our bodies and the tiny snowflakes falling from the light clouds made the moment absolutely flawless. I slowly pulled away from the embrace and smiled sweetly at my soon-to-be-boyfriend. He looked at me, love and admiration flooding his gleaming orbs as he said the long-awaited sentence:
"I like you a lot"
"I like you a lot too" I said, balmily giggling.
