~Narrator's Point of View~

Even since Demise was sealed, Link has been avoiding new people and only speaking with his friends. His frazzled mind made him more silent than usual, the supposed mute rarely even speaking in his language of choice. Surprisingly, Link spoke most when Groose was around, the former bully becoming his constant companion and best friend, going as far as both defending the other if trouble came to them.

Ghirahim had been obliterated in the minds of the Skyloftians, yet Link's paranoia came back to haunt him as the sword, ruthlessly demolitizing the hero at the end of each nightmare. Zelda couldn't calm Link down, Groose could only keep him from going insane, Fledge was only good for distracting him, and Pipit couldn't knock an ounce of sense into the boy. Link refused to take sedatives to sleep, or even go much of anywhere.
