At the end of Part 2:  Nobody seemed to notice the two lovebirds who had just kissed so passionately right in the middle of the sidewalk. "Can!" she whispered against his chest. "Brave Bird!" he teased back at her. He clipped his fingers over her nose and ran his hand across her face in the playful gestures he liked to make when she was tucked under his arm and close to him. A beaming devil-may-care smile was spread broadly across his face as he opens the door of the Towncar. He holds Sanem's hand to assist her into the back seat. He ducks his head down into the car before climbing in behind her and whispers in her ear, "You do know what back seats are for, don't you sevgilim?"

Can enthusiastically suggested they go shopping in SoHo. He was excited for Sanem to experience what some call "Artistic Heaven".

Haluk dropped them off in an area where they could easily walk to many different shops. Walking hand-in-hand, Can and Sanem made stops at several chic, unique, and trendy shops, buying clothes and accessories for both of them. Many of the items they purchased were handmade and one-of-a-kind, created by the artist. Can shared stories of his shopping adventures, telling Sanem how he had acquired many of his signature pieces of clothing and jewelry. He introduced Sanem to many artists, shop owners, buyers, and jewelers since he knew them personally. They bought casual clothes, several chic and trendy outfits, and a few formal pieces. Sanem had never imagined that spending a day shopping with a man could be so much fun. They laughed and played, dressed up for each other, and chose items for each other.

Everywhere they went through the neighborhood, it seemed Can knew everyone and everyone knew him and welcomed them warmly. Sanem began to see how very different life in Istanbul was for her artistic, creative, wild, and free Albatross. Here in New York, he was alive in a way she had not seen before. He winked at her, held her hand, kissed her, kissed her hands, her cheeks, her forehead, her hair and lips, at random, and any time he felt like it. No hiding, no pretending, no games. This was a free-spirited Can Divit! Sanem could not take her eyes off of him, and Can could not keep his eyes or his hands off of her. No... they were definitely not in Turkey anymore!

The last stop they made in their shopping adventure was into a small shop that might easily be missed if you were not looking for it. A sparkling, jewel box of a boutique, it was named LUNESSA. It featured artisan-made jewelry that was unique, delicate, and romantic. Many different locally-handcrafted, heirloom treasures were displayed in glass-fronted cabinets. If they chose to have a piece personalized, customers could work directly with the designer.

Can and Sanem browsed through the store, admiring and commenting on the beautiful jewelry, Sanem was drawn to a particular display that captured and held her attention. Inside the cabinet lay moonstones fashioned into unique and original pieces of jewelry. She found them enchanting and reached to stroke her own moonstone that always rested close to her heart. There were earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings in creative styles for both women and men. All of them unusual and extraordinary. Sanem was overwhelmed by their beauty and her eyes began to well up with unshed tears. Standing back at a distance, Can was watching her when she called to him. "Can, come and look at these incredible creations. Lütfen! I must buy several of these. Can... look at these..."

At that moment, a petite woman with long dark hair and gentle sparkling brown eyes came out from the back of the boutique. When she saw Can, she jumped for joy and ran quickly over to hug him. Can picked her up and twirled her in a hug before setting her back on her feet. "It has been such a long time, Can, where have you been?" Elize asked. Can shrugged and replied in perfect English, "You know with me, Elize, you just never know. But here, I would like you to meet Sanem, the light side of my moon and the love of my life." Elize blinked at Can for a few moments then excitedly asked him, "Your White Moonstone? Can? Your guiding light?" Can's eyes filled with tears but did not let them spill over and answered, "Yes, my Sanem."

Can reached his hand out to Sanem who stood watching this exchange. She did not understand their words but knew she was seeing two close friends having a very meaningful moment. She reached her hand out to Can and stepped into his embrace. Elize came closer and hugged them both together, fully understanding the importance of what Can had just confessed to her. Elize looked over to Sanem, smiled at her and said, "Can, please tell Sanem how happy and blessed I am to meet her." Can translated this to Sanem, and she asked him to relay the same sentiment back to Elize. Can promised to explain to Sanem later the conversation between him and Elize, so she would understand what had been said.

Then Elize pointed to the cabinet Sanem had been admiring and said to her, "I see you found Can's collection." Can translated her words to Sanem as she looked first at the display case and then at Elize, not yet understanding what was meant. Then Elize pointed to Can's signature card laying on the top shelf of the cabinet. With surprise and shock in her eyes, Sanem's gaze flew to Can who stood in front of her beaming. "Can? YOU? You created all of these beautiful pieces?" She waved her hand between them, not knowing if she was dreaming or not. "What else don't I know about you?" She looked at him with eyes full of wonder. Can shrugged his shoulders and raised his eyebrows. With a smile on her face, Elize chimed in saying, "Can Divit, forever the mystery!."

Elize turned to Can. "I am so very happy to see you and to meet Sanem. I have been hoping you would come soon because I have been holding something for you. A special package arrived for you some time ago, from Sri Lanka. It is in my office; let me go and bring it to you." When she returned, Elize handed a small package to Can. He opened it and poured the contents into his hand. "Ah, a very rare Brown Moonstone. It is beautiful!" There was a note inside that said, "Secrets to be revealed and healed." Can read it with a puzzled look on his face. "How bizarre this is. I will have to make a call to Sri Lanka." He slipped the brown moonstone into the pocket where he was keeping his black and white moonstones; he always kept them together.

Can turned to Sanem and asked if she would like to continue browsing in the shop while he and Elize caught up a bit more. Sanem stepped away and continued to look through the shop. After she left, Can had the privacy to ask Elize to bring out his personal collection to him. She smiled knowingly, retrieved a small treasure box from her office and gave it to Can. He took the box and quickly tucked it away in a pocket. He went to find Sanem and said, "Sanem, let's be on our way now. We have a lot to do." Sanem clicked her tongue at Can in protest. "No, Can, I want to purchase, well, all of these pieces." Can replied, "Later, meleğim, we must go now." He rushed her out the door as Sanem called back to Elize that her shop was so lovely and that it was such a pleasure to meet her.

Can and Sanem had been on the go for many hours. Both were tired from the plane travel and from the shopping and sightseeing they had done that day. But New York City is the city that never sleeps and Can had plans to take Sanem to a Broadway show. He called for Haluk to pick them up then dropped Sanem off at a chic SoHo spa. Can had arranged for her to have the full treatment of manicure and pedicure, a facial, have her hair done, and finally a make-up artist who would give her a glamor look for the evening. Can promised to pick her up when she was all done with her beauty treatments.

A few hours later, Haluk drove Can back to the spa to pick up Sanem. He was formally dressed for the evening in a high-fashion black tuxedo, wearing a white silk shirt. He was adorned in his usual style of unique accessories with long chains around his neck, masculine bracelets, and several rings. Added to his attire for tonight's event, several silver stars had been attached and hung from the lapels of his tuxedo jacket. His long hair was pulled back and secured in a formal knot, and he wore his special scent that was very sexy and masculine.
