All the memories flooding in my brain again. The excruciating pain coming back to me. Everything about him is coming back and it kills to know how he is still in my head. If only he listened to me, if only he didn't accuse me of all those horrible things he said about me, if only he knew I wasn't lying, if only he knew talked to me, if only he truly loved me.

*flashback*

As I walk into the Quinton's Café, I noticed a man sitting by himself in the bookshelf by himself. He looked somewhat interesting. He caught me in the eye observing him while he looks at the books.
"Well hello there, what brings you here?" he said. "Nothing really, I thought this café was somewhat interesting. How about you?"
"I'm new into town and I thought to come here since I live nearby." he said. "Oh I live by here too, but never came here before."
"Hm what's your name? My name's Aaron." he said. "My name is Eleanor."
"What a nice name, mind if we go upstairs?" he said. "Sure, why not."

The café wasn't that bad, it took a while to get upstairs though. As we went up, Aaron decided to sit on the couch with these two people talking. I guess he somewhat knew them because he seemed like he already talked to them before but I didn't wanna assume.

"I brought an acquaintance up here with me, her name is Eleanor." Aaron said. "Well Elle, I'm Eli and this is Jace." Eli said.
"Eleanor hm, what a nice name." Jace said. "Nothing good and all, I rather have another name than Eleanor."
"Well I might as well call you Elle." Jace said. "I guess Elle isn't that bad."

After a while, Aaron had to leave I didn't know what to do with these two guys. I was just by myself talking to two strangers that I just met 20 minutes ago. I was about to leave, but I guess Eli wanted to start a conversation.

"So Eleanor anything going on in life?" Eli said. "I mean .. I broke up with my boyfriend just a few days ago .. I honestly don't know how to feel about it."
"Aww I'm sorry to hear that, how come?" Jace said. "He gave his full attention to other girls, I just felt like a side chick."
"Don't worry, if he really wanted you he would've never showed attention to other girls and just leave you out like that. It just shows he never loved you. Not every relationship works out and that's okay, you learn from your mistakes. You just have to move on." Eli said.

I think talking with Eli and Jace really helped me a lot, mostly Eli. He's a therapist. I talked to him about other life problems I was also facing at the moment and he somewhat helped. Unfortunately, it was my time to leave. I got both their numbers just in case I ever needed to reach contact with them again. It was getting dark, on my way home there was a man, he seemed drunk. I tried to ignore the comments he was telling me but it just kept getting worse. He was harassing me now, I felt the need to cry.

"Baby why don't you let me walk you home? I promise I would keep you safe." he said. He was touching me everywhere, he wouldn't stop. He started hitting me and calling my horrible names. "Slut" "whore" "prostitute". The words kept filling in my head as he beat me up, and I couldn't do anything about it.

"Fine you wanna go home by yourself, go ahead I was only trying to help. Useless piece of shit, nothing but worthless." he said.

He walked off leaving me on the floor beaten up. I stayed there for a while then ran home quickly remembering what just happened.
