"Aren't you going to ask for my address," I asked as we pulled out of the parking lot.

"Well that depends. Do you want to go home," he questioned me. I thought about it. There's nothing to look forward to other than a T.V. screen anyway.

"I don't really care," I replied and he nodded and began to drive the opposite direction from my house. We sat in silence for a few minutes while he drove down the highway into a more wooded area.

"There's some mints in the glove, mind passing me one?"

"Fine." I opened up the glove department and inside I found a small pack of altoids. I popped one in my own mouth and another in his hand and resumed my gaze out the window until we had arrived at a set of hiking trails. I was instantly glad I'd worn my combat boots today instead of converse.

"So... what exactly are we doing here?"

Allen smirked, "you'll see."

"Your shoe is untied."

"So it is," he noted and bent down to tie it. As he bent over, a necklace fell out from under his shirt and into plain view.

"A pentagram," I whispered to myself and he stood back up.

"Pentacle, honey. I'm not Satanic," he winked and chuckled.
