- Ross's Pov -

So tonight's the night I'm taking Laura on a date finally well technically it's The School Dance I'm taking her too.

I'm so excited, and Riker and Rydel are coming, though I haven't told Riker the actual reason or place where the date is. Truth is I'm afraid to tell him cause I know he'll say no. He does that a lot now since his been back and since the accident that led him into a wheelchair.

Rydel and Riker are only coming because Laura's parents especially her dad doesn't like the fact of a teenage boy and teenage girl being alone at a dance, Things could happen is what her dad said.

I put on my yellow polo shirt and black ripped skinny jeans, with my yellow converse shoes. I checked that I had everything and walked to Riker's room.

I walked in and saw him on the ground rolling around side to side trying to get his black skinny jeans on. I laughed a little and his head shot up and frowned.

"Don't just stand there and laugh you idiot. Help me" Riker grunted and threw his jeans at me.

I caught them, walking over to Riker and put his legs through the pants, and slid them up over his legs and butt. I zipped them up and picked him up placing him back in his wheelchair, He pulled on his button up blue top and a blue and white stripped tie with his white converse shoes.

' I can't tell him now, He'll never come if I tell him now' I thought to myself

I wheel him to the stair case and hit the button for the slide door to come up, I pushed him on it and it took him down the stairs. I went into Rydel's room and saw her doing her hair.

"Delly you ready yet?" I asked walking into her room and sitting on her bed.

She turned around to me and looked me straight in the eye " you haven't told him have you. Ross you gotta tell him or he'll blow a gasket. You know how insecure his been since the accident and being stuck in the wheelchair." Rydel said looking at me.

I nodded and sighed " His my brother Delly, it'll break his Heart when he finds out i lied to him and not only will it break him he'll be disappointed in me and hate me" I quietly said looking at my hands.

"I'll be there every step of the way Rossy, now come on with have a date and dance to go too." She said fixing my collar and walking out the room with me.

Riker was waiting for us " took use long enough. lets go or we'll be late" we walked out to Riker's Toyota FJ Cruiser, Rydel drove with Riker next to her and me in the back.

We got to Laura's place, she came out with a yellow above the knees cut off dress and silver heels. In my eyes Laura looked absolutely beautiful.

She hopped in the car and we drove away off to the School dance, I stared out the window hoping, praying that Riker wouldn't hate me when he finds out.

--- At School Dance/Date ---

Rydel parked the car and got and helped Riker out. Laura got out before me, I was to terrified to get the car and see Riker's reaction. So I decided to stay inside the car and watch him.

He turned to Laura and then to the car, I ducked my head quickly so he would see "ROSS SHOR LYNCH. GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE NOW." Riker yelled angrily.

' His going to hate me now, My own brother is gonna hate me' I thought to myself as I reached for the car door.

I sighed opening my back door and stepping out, I walked slowly around to the others, standing in front of Riker and the girls.
