"So you and Fate are sisters?"

Destiny nodded solemnly "That's right, though I don't really think of her as that anymore."

Error looked somewhat confused. Destiny sighed.

"I'll start from the beginning."

"A very very long time ago when thos multiverse was just made me, my sister, and many other deities were made so we could watch over and expand our multiverse.

Everyone was given the ability to make a universe but only one of us could make the "Original Universe" it was a very great honor for whoever received the opportunity.

Many wanted to make the OU, my sister included, but I didn't mind either way I would be happy to receive the honor but I wouldn't be sad or angry if I didn't.

My sister was different she wanted nothing more than the honor to make the OU and when she didn't receive it she raged for a whole decade.

While my sister stewed in rage the other deities and I were making general ideas for what we wanted our universes to be, our universes had to be based on the OU somehow so we couldn't do more than that until Toby-"

"Wait, wait, wait." Error interrupted "Who is Toby?"

"Oh! Sorry I meant Time, he insists we call him Toby for some reason."

"Oh..." Error said still feeling a little confused.

"Are you ready to continue?" Error nodded.

"Anyway when Toby made the OU, Undertale as you know it, everyone started seriously working on our universes. Of course there were stipulations.

We had to balance out negativity and positivity within our universes, otherwise the multiverse would be unbalanced.

And we could only add so much power to our universe at a time, otherwise our universes wouldn't be able to take it and would fall apart. Those were the main ones.

Some people like Karma and Memory already had clear ideas in their heads that didn't need to much power so they were done first, after finishing his universe Karma stayed by the entrance to the multiverse to check if everyone balanced out their universe.

I didn't have my universe ready for a long time because I didn't know how to balance out negativity and positivity in it, I wanted my universe to be a very positive environment but struggled to find a way to bring negativity into it without ruining that.

Eventually I found a way, and finished my universe soon after but on the day I was going to place it into the multiverse my sister had finished her universe.

Now my sister and I were never really all that close, she became somewhat of a recluse after not getting to create the OU, but I wanted to see what her universe was like I would be it's Aunt after all.

Needless to say when I found out that Fate's universe could make universes I was more than a little worried. I asked her if she made sure her universe knew about the balances, but she assured me she "taught it all it needed to know" so I figured it was okay.

But, for some reason, I had a very bad feeling about Fate's universe so I didn't place my universe into the multiverse like I planned choosing to fine tune it and add power when I could.

Eventually it happened, me and the other deities are calling it The Collapse, Fate's universe created too much for the multiverse to hold and the universes inside started to collapse, but none of us knew until Karma broadcasted it to us.

Everyone who placed their universes into the multiverse, which was almost everyone but me, rushed to save their universes some succeeded in saving their universes with minimal damage, many saved theirs with more severe damages, but most... lost their universes to The Collapse.

I confronted Fate, who's universe had no damages whatsoever, about what her universe caused and insisted she take responsibility for the pain she caused but...

She acted like it wasn't a big deal like many deities universes, their children, hadn't been lost because of her universe. I was furious, in that moment I could honestly say I hated my sister.

I decided if she wouldn't take responsibility herself I would have to tell the other deities what her universe did, and what she said. When I told the other deities they, like me, were furious with her behavior.

When we told her, once again, to take responsibility for her universes actions she acted like her universes feelings were more important than the universes lost. I wanted to scream at her how wrong she was but another deity beat me to the punch.

It was Magic, one of the deities that lost their universe, and they were not happy they screamed at her and demanded she tell her universe what it did wrong so this would never happen again.

Fate said she would but that wasn't enough for Magic they told her to tell her universe "right here right now" Fate reluctantly agreed and took the soul of the universe out to talk to it and told her universe about how it broke the balance and overcrowded the multiverse.

She was very gentle with the soul and it seemed to understand and show signs of guilt she then turned to Magic and said "satisfied?" As if Magic should feel bad for making her tell the universe what it did wrong.

Magic and the other deities agreed that the outcome was satisfactory and went to grieve and repair their universes respectively. What we didn't know at the time was that Fate had no intention of returning her universe's soul..."
