Dream sat up from where he must've fallen asleep. The floor was freezing and bone chilling, he shivered slightly. He slowly turned his head and strained his eyes to look at the clock. A couple minutes until after lights.  Dream heard two guards talking or arguing about something right outside his door. Not Wilbur and Tommy...The guards sound older and one of the voices is feminine. It clicked in his brain on who the two were. Minx and Quackity. Shit they're both higher trained and ranked guards...they can't know about this.

Dream watched as his clock slowly turned to the time he wanted to leave. He ran over to his window and opened it very slowly, trying not to alert the guards. He couldn't tell if anybody was down below him, it was way too dark, even for his eyes to see. He heard a twig snap from the edge of the forest. Then two figures emerged from the woods, which was strange. One was holding a lantern above their head and the other holding a disc like shape. Why are people coming from the woods..? Maybe they tried to scout them out first?

"Wil, Tommy? Is that you?"  Dream tried to speak quietly because of the guards practically stalking his room. The slightly shorter figure shot his head up and waved frantically. "Ayyyyy! Big man! Yeah it's us you can come down my good friend!" Tommy had called up in a quiet tone, he was speaking a weird accent, maybe a Mexican but you really never know with Tommy. "Alright I'm gonna come down now." Wil shot his head up with a worried look. "Careful, don't fall!" Dream nodded his head and jumped from the window, he did a flip in mid-air then landed on his feet. Jumping from the second floor was nothing new for Dream, he did it regurally to avoid social interaction. Wilbur was looking at Dream in awe and Tommy just looked extremely pissed. "You're such a show off Dream."

A couple minutes went by when two more figures appeared. They had came from the back of the castle, Dream got nervous thinking it was two guards patrolling the area. The slightly taller figure came running towards them and jumped at Dream, wrapping him in a hug. "Hi Tubbo" Tubbo lets go of Dream and smiles up at him. "Ello! TOMMY! DID YOU BRING YOUR NERF GUN!?!" Dream shoots Tubbo a look to quiet down and stop shouting. The other figure approaches with a flashlight. "Sorry for keeping you guys waiting..! Minx wouldn't leave Tubbo's doorway so I had to wait to get him." Wilbur smiles at Niki a little. "It's all good Niki, we should get going before they realize you guys are gone." Tubbo and Dream exchanged worried glances, then nodded following Wilbur and Tommy.

About an hour later they were traveling through the woods without a care in the world, verything running smoothly. Dream was carrying Tubbo on his back, Tubbo had fallen asleep sometime along the way. Tommy was a bit ahead of them with his nerf gun pointing in a direction whenever he heard a noise. Wilbur was walking beside Niki, who was looking at an old map. "Tommy?" Wilbur said, noticing Tommy had stopped. Tommy had suddenly swung his head around with a frightened look. "Hide, quick now!" Tommy darted behind a tree. Dream quickly ran to another tree, Tubbo was starting to stir not knowing what was going on. Wilbur grabbed Niki's hand and hid her behind a tree with him. Two figures appeared in the clearing where they had just been. Dream could barely make out who they were. I've never seen those people before... Suddenly the taller figure started talking. "I swear I heard something over here Sapnap." The one who was supposedly Sapnap spoke up. "Uh huh. Sureee you did Karl. You say that all the time." Dream's breathing was heavy trying not to freak out while the two people stalked the area. Tubbo must've awoken as he looked up at his panicking brother. "Something wrong Dr-" Dream put his hand over Tubbo's mouth. Karl shot his head in their direction. "Aha! See I told you I heard someone!" "Yeah yeah alright, now I believe-" Sapnap's voice had cut off. Karl turned around and Sapnap was gone. "Sapnap? Sapnap?! This isn't funny!! SAPNAP? Where are you!?!" Dream peered around the tree, the other person was nowhere to be seen. Sapnap appeared behind Karl. "Boo!" Karl screamed but it came out more high pitched "Ugh let's keep going you ass!" The two people continued on their way and they five could finally take a breath they had been all been holding without realizing.

The group had continued walking after the appearance of the two strange boys. Dream had been the only one that noticed Tommy was acting strange, Tommy would jut his head around at the slightest of sound. He was acting really strange, it was like he was scared of something. "Hey Tommy you alright big man? You're more scared then Tubbo is." Tubbo glared at his brother before rolling his eyes and continuing his conversation with Wilbur. "Hm? Yeah I'm fine. Those guys should be back." Dream looked over at Tommy both intrigued and confused. "Who were they and how'd you know they were coming?" Tommy hesitated before answering, picking at his nails. "Uhm..heard their foot steps and I don't know." Tommy lied, he had to lie to protect his secret. Dream nodded then stopped talking for a bit. He looked over at Niki who gave him a reasuring smile. He looked up through the trees. Nothing caught his eye, so he decided to keep his eyes on Tommy. They had been walking pretty peacefully for around twenty minutes after the two strangers appeared. Suddenly there was a scream and it felt like the open space they had been in became ten times bigger.
