the boys were leaving the beverly hills home, jack and zach leaving together as they came together. "jack, stay back, i need to talk to you for a second." daniel said, stopping the faux brunette in his tracks. jack handed zachary the keys to the car, "go start the car, i'll be out soon." he smiled softly, looking at the boy. daniel and jack watch the little boy skip out the door, smiling softly.
daniel smiled, gently hitting jack in the chest. "make a move on him you dipshit!" jack looked at the much taller, "i cant, d.." he said softly, his mood dropping instantly. "what, why?" asked the faux blonde, "too risky." he said before turning around, heading out the door. "jack?" said the older. "hm?" he asked. "he loves you too." jack looked back at the older once more, giving him a small nod before walking out of the house.
the drive back to the herron house was silent, but it was comfortable, the small murmurs on the radio, "z?" said the older looking over at the smaller once they were stopped at a red light, "hm?" he responded, shutting his eyes gently, the light hurting his eyes. "do you love me?" he asked, pressing down on the gas, soon arriving to the herron household. "of course i love you.." he said softly, reaching for the door handle. "i love you so fucking much, it hurts." he said softly. "but, i have to be with kay." he said, looking at the older with soft eyes, tears brimmed across the bottom of them. "have a good night jacky." he said, leaning over pressing a kiss onto the others cheek, going up to his front door.
he unlocked the front door, sneaking past his younger siblings, not wanting them to see their older brother in tears. he hid his sniffles with his jacket sleeve, quickly going upstairs to his room.
jack sat in the herron family's driveway for what felt like hours, hearing the words that spilled out of the youngers mouth. before he knew it, tears were streaming down his face, his head falling onto the steering wheel. a string of curse words flew out of his mouth.
