If there ever comes a day where the world turns it's back on you
and slowly you start feeling blue.
When you've been pushed into a pitch-black pit that surrounds you with nothing but lies,
Take a trip down our memory lane that would light you up like a flock of firelies.
We've held onto each other during thick and thin,
and through all the elated times we've been,
You've got me like a lighthouse in the middle of the ocean,
I've got you like a promise that cannot be broken,
We have come a long way down the rocky road with each time with you by my side,
At all times in each other we could confide.
In the end no matter how hard the crowd may try,
the bond we hold shall never die.
