Tiny tapping fills the halls, as if water was dripping onto the ground. Fiona's footsteps were like tiny mice running around the manor, even Helena wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Fiona couldn't sleep tonight. Just like every other night. Nothing was there, nothing. Yet the lack of sleep messed with her mind, shadows moving in front of her, possibly someone stalking her from behind. But yet when she turned back... no one. No one was there. Eli's advice didn't work at all, in fact it only made her even more paranoid.

The shadows would run across her eyes. The weight of secondary footsteps behind her. Yet when she looked back, she found no one. Calling out to the footsteps solved nothing. The only person she knew pulled pranks was Mike. But... he wouldn't have gone on for this long. Right? It's been months since Fiona hasn't been able to have a good night's rest, at night she swears she can feel eyes on her. Even sleeping in Patricia's room didn't help her shake the feeling.

Fiona felt someone poke her back, no one was in the halls. Fiona jumps, digging her heel into the floor. She turns around, ready to swing her arms at whoever it was. It was just Victor. Hiding behind his notebook. Victor shakes, watching as Fiona's arms fly back down to her sides. "Dear me Victor." Fiona sighs, rubbing her temple, her other hand on her hip. The sounds of a pencil scratching the paper fills the halls. Fiona remains silent. Simply waiting for the results.

Victor hands her the notepad with a shy smile on his face. Fiona frowns, the shadows covering the notepad's words. Fiona sighs, signaling Victor to follow her. "There's candles in the lobby I believe."

Why was Victor up at this time? Aesop glares at the two from behind the wall, clenching his hands together so he wouldn't take out his anger against the wall. Aesop finally decided he was done with her today. Yet everything had to get in his way, Aesop was planning to knock her out with a book then continue to dispose of her some place else. Of course the postman had to decide to stay awake on the same day a death was going to happen. "Aesop?" A familiar feeling of cold fingers touching his shoulders.

Him. Again. "What are you doing up at this time?" Aesop turned his head, hopping that it wasn't actually who he thought it was. "You should be asleep by this time, no?" Those dead blue filled eyes is the first thing Aesop sees. His hair full of volume, always aesthetically pleasing somehow. Even in the dead of the night. "Eli's concerned about Fiona's night terrors. So I check up on her often." Aesop didn't lie at least. "I see you still have a very close fascination with the seer." Joseph chuckles.

Aesop nods, his eyes still on Fiona. "Perhaps you have a bit of a crush on him?" Aesop's eyes widened at the word "crush." Aesop jumps, turning over to Joseph. His cheeks flush, along with his heart running. "N-No! He has a fiance!" "You two seem very close." Joseph points out, leaning against the wall. "Almost like very close male friends whom lived together-" "I know I'm gay Joseph, but he's clearly straight." Aesop snaps with a sigh.

"You never know until you ask." Joseph shrugs. "If he won't have you, I'll gladly take you instead." Joseph smirks, wrapping his arms around Aesop's neck. "No." Aesop ducks before Joseph could pull him in, giving him a harsh glare. "I tried." "Have a good night." Aesop dismisses the conversation at this point, walking toward the duo on the couch. Well at least Joseph tried. Shame really, Eli wouldn't take such a handsome man.

Aesop walks up the two, with heavier footsteps than usual. Fiona looks up from Victor's notepad and smiles. "Aesop." "Hello. I heard your heels stepping around in the halls again." Fiona chuckles. Victor greets the man with an awkward smile as Aesop sits next to him. "Not to mention the noticeable imprints of your heel in the ground." "Oops." Fiona smiles, an obvious sad one. The skin under her eyes dark and grey, her eyelids dropping up and down, trying to sleep but her eyes jolting back up, staring at the shadows in the room.
