It was the weekend and Taehyun decided to give his bedroom a good cleaning. It's been a while since he last threw out old belongings, and too much clutter was being visible around each corner of the room. He had to let go of a few things.
Starting off with his desk, he tossed out old school notes and small scraps of trash. As he was organizing the textbooks on his shelves, he noticed that Mirai's diary was there too.
He didn't want to keep it, but the girl insisted on taking it anyways. Throughout all this time, he didn't even open it.
But now he was curious. Curious to see what Mirai meant when she said that all the things she wished she could say to him in person, were all written down here.
Opening it up, he began reading the first page.
Dear Diary, It's our 8th grade graduation and Beomgyu, Jinhee, and I took pictures in the beach. I can't believe I'm done with middle school and I'm going to start high school. What's even better is that all three of us will be spending our 3 years in the same high school! I hope I make some more friends there.

Dear Diary, I just started high school and let's just say, it's amazing! I haven't really talked to a lot of people, but Beomgyu, Jinhee, and I have the same classes throughout both of our semesters. Classes are getting harder as well as the workload, but I can manage. Yesterday, I had another doctors appointment and they prescribed me three more medications. I already have 2 to take and it's so much of a hassle. Gosh I wish this sickness would like magically disappear.

Dear Diary, Guess what! Beomgyu joined the music program, one of the hardest clubs to get in out of the whole school. (woohoo!) He was always a talented singer and dancer, must be why he got in, right? I once snuck a peek inside of their classroom, and oh my god. Everyone looked like they would eat me alive. They were all so scary... I hope I don't bump into them any time soon...

Dear Diary, It's summer vacation! But I can't travel since I have a lot of scheduled appointments with my doctor. On the bright side though, none of my friends are going anywhere so I can spend some time with them! We all planned to go to the mall, beach, and even each other's houses to watch movies. It's gonna be so much fun!
