We spent 5 hours sitting in the war room. Every single second of that excruciatingly long period of time was spent reiterating plans and making them airtight. I wasn't risking losing significant troops to these people who didn't deserve to even set foot on my land. Halfway through the meeting, we had received a letter from Taiyo to Tsuki, it stated that they would try their hardest to get troops to us in time, but they were doubtful whether they would succeed. Of course, without that aid of our much more powerful ally, we had a reduced chance of success, but I didn't care. If I had to win the battle through sheer force of will, then I would find a way, because there was no way I was losing to a crusty ass bitch like Shigaraki.

"That meeting was so long!" Hanta groaned, he stretched his hands above his head which caused his back to click ominously.

"I know, right?" Denki exclaimed from beside him, "But it was necessary. I sure won't be forgetting my post any time soon. Posted in the mountains with a small force, shouldn't be too scary."

My tribe and I had all split away from the newer additions to our circle of trust and elected to venture through the gardens, it was the last semblance of peace we could hope to grasp onto before everything went to shit. It was odd, not having Fumikage and Kyoka with us, it set Ground Zero on edge slightly, but I could push down his instincts to fly out and protect them. They could protect themselves.

"I'm going to gorge myself tonight." Mina hummed, " I don't know if we'll be fighting tomorrow, but Alien Queen is getting hungry."

"Same with Chargebolt." Denki said.

"Yeah, Red Riot is ready to eat a whole cow. Although, we'll probably have to hunt for our own food since all of the servants have been sent through the tunnels." Eijiro agreed.

We continued our path, relishing in the sharp smell of flowers and nature around us. The quiet hum of magic which filled the Kingdom was even more pronounced due to the tranquillity which had settled in the air. The calm before the storm.

"Hey, Katsuki," Mina hummed. The silence which had encased us was broken by her naturally subdued voice.

"Yeah?"

"Shoto is your destined, isn't he? I don't think you ever explicitly told us." Her voice made it sound like she was asking, but realistically she already knew. They all already knew, which meant they had probably already guessed that we were together, though I wasn't going to give up that piece of information easily.

"Yeah, he's my destined. A bit ironic, huh? My enemy's son. How cliche." I tutted. The others hummed in agreement but said nothing more. Maybe they just assumed that we were together, after all, it was normal for destined to get together as soon as they figured it out. That hadn't been the case for Shoto and me though. We hadn't been together until a few months after the truth was revealed.

"I'm scared," Denki whispered into the chilling mountain air.

"Me too," Hanta whispered in return.

"Me three," Mina huffed.

"Me four," Eijiro smiled sadly. Everyone's heads swivelled to look at me, their eyes begging me to continue their little chain. I rolled my eyes at them but appeased them none the less.

"Me five, you'd be a fucking dumbass not to be scared," I grumbled. My friends beamed at me, adoration and familial love sparkling like the rarest jewels in their eyes. As I expected, the idiots piled on top of me, knocking into the bushes beside the path and smothering me in hugs and smacking kisses. I groaned and grumbled but inside, in the most remote recesses of my heart, I was laughing merrily and basking in the attention of my brothers and sister. The ones who would always remain by my side and I would trust until my dying days (although I would most likely outlive them by a few thousand years or so, sadly).
