Who knows what the future holds for Mary and Klaus...

After Mary's little encounter with Klaus, Mary couldn't stop thinking about him. And how they were gonna spend time together the next day. She started to feel butterflies in her stomach. As though it was her first time being asked out on a date.

MARY'S POV.

Seeing Nik again after so many years makes me feel so guilty for so many reasons. One being that he doesn't know that Dean is his son. Two being i lied to him. I just hate the fact that I have to continue to lie to him and yet he still treat's me so well.

I want him but I also know the danger's of being with him. Am I being selfish for accepting his invitation. Am I leading him on? Should I stop? Should I not show up?
So many questions yet no answers.

Why is life be so cruel...

TIME SKIP TO THE NEXT DAY, 1:00PM 3RD POV.

Mary had put Dean to an early nap, he should be asleep for at least 4 hours. Enough time for her to see Klaus for a little bit. And maybe a little time for herself. As Mary was getting her last finishing touches done. She looked at herself in the mirror, 'am i being selfish' Mary thought over and over in her head.

After Mary looked at the time and decided it was time to go. Mystic falls was a small town so it wasn't that hard to find the Mystic griller. It looks old just like this town. To be honest Mary wasn't very found of Mystic falls, she felt like something was off in the town.

The close Mary walked her heart beat became faster. Before she new it she was right in front of the building. She had to keep repeating in her head to calm down. Yet no matter how hard she tried she couldn't. Once she grabbed the handle to walk in she already spotted Klaus. Siting by were all the achole was.

Slowly Mary walked up to him and with all her courage she spoke up.
"Did i keep you waiting?" Klaus turned around to see Mary. And a small smile appeared on Klaus's face.

"No not all, please sit."

The atmosphere around them was awkward. Mary order her food and Klaus just order another one of his drinks. "How have you been Mary?"

"Good um really good actually, Dean will be going to first grade next year. After Dean goes to first grade I'll probably find a job um...yeah." After Klaus heard Mary's little life story he kinda felt hurt. If he and Mary were still together would they have the life she always wanted. Or not?

After half an hour talking and laughing you could tell they both missed each other deeply. It was already 2:05 and Mary decide it would be best to start heading back to her hotel. Klaus new if he didn't say something right now then Mary would truly be gone from him forever. As Mary was about to get up Klaus grabbed her wrist.

"Would you like to have a drink with me."
