"Can I play some music?" y/n asked Jungkook who handed a bowl to her. He nodded and she grabbed her phone."You're in danger !" y/n's phone blasted. The corners of Jungkook's lips lifted. "You know this song? It brings back so many memories.." He trailed off.
"How could I not?" she replied. Y/n stepped out and began dancing to the choreography. Jungkook's eyes lit up. "How– this was one of our hardest dances! Woah, y/n.." he said. She smiled and led him to where she was. Together, they danced.
After the song ended, they high fived each other. "Let's get started on the cake?" Jungkook said. He took out an electrical mixer and together they poured the ingredients into the bowl.
Jungkook went to wash his hands and accidentally dropped water on the floor. Y/n walked towards the sink to wash her hands when her soulmate slipped on the water.
His hands landed on the counter in an attempt to catch himself before he hit the marble countertop. He let out a sigh of relief but looked down to see his soulmate right in between his arms.
Flustered, y/n kept her hands up, which she had held out in defense. She stayed as still as she could as she felt her soulmate's gaze on her. He was wondering where she came from and how they landed in that position.
Y/n cleared her throat and her eyes darted towards Jungkook's eyes and then his lips. He was studying her reaction. When she didn't move, he slowly leaned in and her breath hitched.
His eyes flew open as fast as they closed when he heard the oven beeping. He didn't move his body but moved his head back, his arms still caging her.
Jungkook smiled in annoyance and stopped himself from throwing something at the oven. He lifted y/n's hand and placed a gentle kiss on it. Her pink cheeks turned red and at that moment she felt like the luckiest person to have ever lived.
"Well.. the oven's done preheating." he rubbed the back of his head and went to turn the beeping off. He sighed put the batter into the oven.
Meanwhile, y/n was fanning herself with her hands. She calmed down and put a tranquil expression on her face.
After putting the cake in the oven, the two awkwardly stood in the kitchen. Then, they both headed to sit down on the couch.
"So.. how many of our dances do you know?" Jungkook asked.
"I know a few," she said, leaning over cutely. There's Danger, DNA, Idol, Blood Sweat & Tears, Go Go–"
"Actually, I'm gonna change my question. How many of our dances do you not know?"
She chuckled. "I don't know quite a few.. I started learning Black Swan a few days ago."
His eyes lit up. "Did you finish learning it? Do you want to learn it?"
"I only got like.. 1 minute in. You guys have the best choreos, but they're so hard to learn."
"Thanks. Thats true– can I teach you the rest?"
Y/n gasped. "Woah– that would be amazi–"
Jungkook gently held y/n's hand and led her to the center of the room. He played the song and together, they danced the first part. "Y/n!! You're so good at this!" he exclaimed, looking at how effortlessly his soulmate danced. She thanked him and shyly smiled. They practiced all sorts of dances while waiting for the cake.
An hour later, they heard the oven beep. "Oh! It's done~!" y/n happily skipped towards the kitchen. Jungkook followed her and grabbed oven mitts. Y/n opened the oven and Jungkook took out the cake, putting it on the stove.
They went back to choreographing, waiting for the cake to cool. After some time, they iced and cut the cake together.
Giggling, Jungkook wiped icing off the cake and rubbed it on y/n's face. She gasped and did the same to him. He caught her hand and licked some cake that was on her hand. She looked at him in disgust but laughed and chased him around. They settled down after a few minutes and indulged in the scrumptious cake.
"WOW.. this is actually.. really good.." Jungkook said, surprised. "We have a lot left. Should we give it to the rest of bangtan?"
Y/n nodded, stuffing her face. He texted them and put his phone away. The male pouted and gave her a fork, pointing to her mouth. She rolled her eyes and fed him a bite while he grinned.
Jungkook jumped when he heard the doorbell. Jungkook opened it and Hoseok, Yoongi, Jin and Taehyung walked in.
"You guys got here really fast." He smiled in annoyance.
"What is this smell?" Jin said. "It smells like–"
The 4 stopped and saw y/n. "Y/n!!" Taehyung said. "Hiiii!" The other members waved at her.
"Hello!!" she greeted them formally, walking over to them and bowing.
"Hey hey, no need. You can be informal with us." Yoongi said, patting her hand. "I see you and Jungkook have been bonding."
Hoseok wandered off to the kitchen and saw the cake. "WOW! THIS SMELLS AMAZING!"
"Jungkook... are you coming for my cooking skills?" Jin said. They laughed.
"I am about to make a joke about cake. You butter believe it."
Y/n glanced at the eldest, biting her lip to refrain from smiling. "Just ignore him." Suga said. Taehyung was stuffing his mouth with cake.
"Oh by the way, we're sorry the others couldn't come. They were busy," Hoseok said.
"It's fine." Taehyung said. "That means more cake for us~"
Y/n laughed. They all spent the rest of the time there talking, joking, roasting each other, and having fun.
A few hours later, Hoseok spoke up. "Well.. it's getting late. I think we should go." he said. "Have fun guys!" he said, waving to Jungkook and y/n, dragging the rest of the members out.
