As I walked out of the changing room in a crop top that couldn't get any tinier, I instantly regretted it.
The salesman stared at me, while Frayer shrieked in delight.
"Even though - to be honest - you don't have deadly curves, Alexis, you have this flat stomach to die for!" Frayer pinched my stomach.
"Oww! Frayer!" I winced.
She ignored me. "How do you keep this fit? How? You eat so much! Ahhh! Why am I even best friends with you? Die bitch, you don't deserve my love."
Honestly, I don't know what she is getting overly excited about. I mean, she has curves to die for.
But getting complements from Frayer isn't so bad once you actually think about it.
I checked myself out at a human-sized mirror nearby and saw a young girl showing too much stomach. The crop top is acting like a bra to me, but it did match the skinny jeans I wore to the mall.
"I am never wearing this croppie. You can have it."
She shrugged. "You can have it, I need to get a size smaller."
I stared at her and groaned. "You've got to be kidding me."
"Actually, I'm not really, but if you...," she trailed off as her eyes literally bulged out of her sockets, she gasped and she kept prodding me. "Hot dog, Alexis. Hot dog. Behind you."
In case you haven't guessed yet, hot dog is our code word for hot guys.
I immediately turned around, and I felt like hitting my head on the wall repeatedly until I die.
James smiled cutely while Chaze scowled hotly as they walked in.
"Frayer, if you love me, hide me."
"But why?"
"Just do what I-"
"And we meet again," James said, completely cutting me off. He looked pretty shocked to see us, as much as we were, but he never failed to keep a dashing smile on his face. "Hello, Alexis."
I felt like hiding my very publicly shown stomach when he spotted me, but James was totally checking me out and I saw that small little wink he gave me there.
James, hot and rich, is eye raping me. I felt accomplished in life.
He looked at Chaze, who refused to acknowledge my existence nor look at me at all. "Chaze, be nice."
He sighed, shoving his hands into his designer jeans, and mumbled, "Apple Juice."
I wanted to smack him in the face right then and there (with a metal bar), but I kept myself civilized. During the whole process, he was still not taking even the slightest glimpse at me.
"Alexis?" Frayer whispered from behind me, as she poked my waist, I squealed.
"Ahh. Frayer." James smiled a hundred-watts smile at her, and I could see that she very nearly melted. "We have met, but in a, hm, less convenient occasion."
I grinned like an idiot. Frayer smiled coolly at him and then looked over at me widening her eyes, raising an eyebrow, so these are the guys you were talking about?
We have this thing where we can pretty much talk with our eyes, our connection is that deep.
So I sighed, Yeah.
She grinned mischievously, so this is the Chaze you were talking about earlier?
I remained silent, giving her a glare. Oh shoot. Please, no, no, no-
